I am Eid-Ul-Hussain. I completed my Masters program in December 2015 from University of Karachi majoring in Sociology. The enclosed resume will show you my experience in research work for social development.
Previously I have been associated with Vital Pakistan Trust as a Field Coordinator. The project I overlooked was Immunization, where I had seven vaccination centers of Bin Qasim Town to supervise along with the field staff. This project was actually based on routine vaccination of under two years children, so I have to trained and facilitate my field team to achieve their daily targets, for that we do Outreach, do coordination with government EPI staff (LHW/LHV) for RI campaign every month to achieve our monthly target as well. I also worked with Vital Pakistan Trust as a Senior Research Assistant. My role was to conduct group and in-depth interviews from the participants, further I do field monitoring and check out the quality of data and data editing. The project I oversee mainly focuses on reducing Child Mortality rate from the coastal area of Karachi, and on the other hand it also contains Family Planning Program and Women Empowerment. I also worked with Tabba Heart Hospital as a Clinical Research Associate. Where I have to supervise the clinical trial on InnoSeal/TR-Band, I have to monitor the trial procedure with the Cath lab staff and take the consent of the trial participant as well, Communication between Cath lab staff and ECO team for timely respond to their outgoing/incoming patients, further else, I have to update the patients data on daily basis and do weekly meeting the staff on the progress report. Further I have worked as a Third Party Field Monitor at EYCON Pvt. Limited. Where I was doing field monitoring and data revalidation all over Karachi UC wise, cross checking of micro plan during pre-campaign, attending UC and DC level meetings during Intra campaign to present all the field issues those were identified on field. I also learned to evaluate the data throughout all Polio programs and further information is attached in my resume. I had also worked with Aga Khan Social Welfare Board as an Associate Member Survey and Transfers as well as in other organizations on a voluntary level. I have done a thesis on Causes and Consequences of Student Involvement in Political Parties with the Special Reference of University of Karachi.
As a volunteer as well as a professional, I can easily fit and manage in different working scenarios because of my work experience in different organizations. Im interested in exploring more about the social and development sector.

Field Coordinator
Senior Research Assistant
VITAL (Vaccines and other initiative to advance lives) Pakistan Trust represents a substantial and concerted effort to reduce child mortality in Pakistan. Its initial focus is on the coastal belt of Karachi, covering a population of 30,000. Set on making a significant impact decrease the number of under-five, preventable child death.
Currently I have been associated with Vital Pakistan Trust as a “Senior Research Assistant”. My role is to conduct group and in-depth interviews from the participants on field, further I do field monitoring and check out the quality of data and data editing. The project I oversee mainly focuses on reducing Child Mortality rate from the coastal areas of Karachi, and on the other hand it also contains Family Planning Program and Women Empowerment, through which we educate the mothers about routine immunization and care-seeking of child and conducting community awareness session with other staff members in those areas regarding women empowerment and mother plus child health.
Clinical Research Associate
Previously I have been associated with Tabba Heart Institute as a Clinical Research Associate. My role is to supervise and monitor the clinical research trial performed by the Cath staff, data reporting/data editing of all the clinical trial patients, further communication and time management with the Cath and ECO staff regarding clinical trial on (Innoseal/TR-Band) for Doppler slot on the given time period.
Area Field Officer
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible to identify the allotted area of work during Post Campaign.
2. To work in close coordination with technical section to ensure quality of work.
3. Monitoring the field activities and provide all the required logistic and technical support to the field workers.
4. Validate the quality of data and data reporting.
5. Morning meeting with field workers before going to the field.
TPFM (Third Party Field Monitor)
