To Determine the Current Trends of Antibiotic Resistance among Clinical Pathogen Found In Blood Culture
Abstract:
To determine current trends of antibiotic resistance among clinically pathogen found in blood culture. A total of 629 samples taken from different susceptible patients. Out of 629 only 86 positive results come which were conducted during the time period of May 2016 to September 2016.these isolates contain staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi, Klebsiella Pneumonia, P. aeruginosa,Citrobacter fruendii, Sten.maltophilia, E.coli, P.mirabilis, S.marcescens, E.aerogenes.the ratio was almost same in male female. The different antibiotics were used against different organisms. The group of antibiotics were used against organisms for checking the susceptibility pattern in blood culture, Cefotaxime (CE) , Amikacin (Ak) ,), Ampicillin (Amp) , Aztreonam (Atm) , Augmentin (Aug), Ceftazidime (Caz) , Ceftazidime (Caz) , Cefepime (Fep) , Cefixime (Cfm) , Cefixime (Cfm) , Ceftriaxone (Cro) , Cephradine (Ce) , Chloramphanicol(Cap) , Ciproflaxacin (Cip) , Clindamycin (Cli) , Colistin (CT), Cotrimoxazole (Cot), Doxycycline (Dox), Erythromycin(Ery), Fusidicacid(Fa), Gentamicin (Gm), Imipenem (Ipm), Linezolid(Lzd), Meropenum (Mem), Minocycline (Mi), Moxifloxacin(Mxf), Moxifloxacin(Mxf), Penicillin(Pen), Rifampicin(Rif), Sulzone (Sul), Tazobactum (Tzp), Tazoccin (Tzc), Unasyn (Uyn), Vancomycin(Van). The positive 89 isolate contain following organisms Staphylococcus aureus ( 58.53 %) , salmonella typhi (7.31%) , k.pneumonia (7.31%) , P.aeruginosa (3.61%) , C . fruendii (2.44%) , Sten.maltophilia (2.44%) , E.coli (4.88%) , P.mirabilis (1.22%), S.marcescens (1.22%) ,E.aerogenes,s.aureus MRSA (11%), MDR s.typhi (1.22%) ,Sten.maltophilia (2.44%) were observed.
