During the Summer Internship, I learned about
The generation from the installed capacity of 850MW from the four units which uses Gas and furnace oil.
The working of a power plant which involves the compressor, the combustion system and turbines.
Wide variety of sensors used in the plant which includes thermocouples, RTD, diaphragm, pneumatic control valves, variable frequency drives, etc.
