As a production lead my for most important responsibility is to complete the daily production targets of Refrigerator, Visi cooler, Microwaves oven and Water heater departments by considering the master production plan. As a shift Lead follows are my routine activities to accomplish my production goals.

Plan to ensure people and available resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet daily production requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
Ensure station wise achievement of production targets of all sections.
Ensure achievement of production throughout against stated capacity targets.
Meeting with quality team to discuss their findings and improvement plan.
Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required
Responsible for training of operators for products and processes
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from the strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware of expectations and deliverables
Ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times
Ensure all material records are completed appropriately.
Control floor material rejection.
Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated.
Maintain visible lead for adherence to procedures and instructions
Work positively with support functions to fully define the processes/procedures/controls relevant to team activities.
Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team
Liaise and communicate with other departments and ensure an effective interface is maintained

As a production engineer I was responsible for completing the daily production targets from Fabrication, Pre Assembly station, Thermoforming, Gasket and press section of Refrigerator. As a production engineer follows are my routine activities to complete station wise my production targets.

Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
Develop operational strategies to achieve daily production targets.
Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately.
Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolution.
Continuous improvements (KAIZEN) implementation on working flood.
Develop skill matrix & time and motion study of labor for process improvement.

Worked as an internee engineer in locomotive shop and carriage shop where I worked in diesel classified section, nozzle section governor section, foundry section, turbo charger section, machining shop, chain test section, Wheel design section, spring manufacturing section.

Worked as an internee engineer in various departments like mechanical maintenance, welding section designing section compressor section, cutting section, coiling section, assembling section and packing sections.
