ESitara Group of Industries have a comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program under which Education (especially for poor girls), Technical Education (skill development), Health and livelihood interventions for in house employees, poor community around the industry, near-by towns and for general public. Being Manager Coordination, following were major tasks completed: 
·         Reviewed & Revised Education, Technical Education and Health intervention strategies, policies and SOPs and aligned it as per international development standards, especially on quality and access issue and transparent Identification and distribution mechanism.
 ·         Registration and Affiliation of educational institutes (school, technical institutes and college) of group and annual renewals with Education Department of Punjab, TEVTA, Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE).
 ·         Overall administration of institutes, HSE (Health Safety and Environment) standers, security, horticulture, housekeeping, canteens, playgrounds.
 ·         Design and peruse market oriented short vocational courses for technical college of group and deployment in industry.
 ·         Entrepreneur trainings and in-kind support to trained youth
 ·         Free health camps and medicines, water supplies, filtration plants etc. to poor communities of Faisalabad
 ·         Distribution of food, clothing and seeds to poor community to meet their livelihood.  
 ·         Oversight subsidies education and health facilities to poor families and youth on regular basis.
·          Provision of food and non-food items for flood victims of Sindh and Balochistan through Deputy Commissioner (Government).

Solider Switzerland implemented a two years’ project funded by Swiss Solidarity in District Layyah, South Punjab, Pakistan. The project aimed to strengthen the resilience of rural communities in Layyah district affected by floods in 2015 by improving the WASH (PATS), thereby contributing to improved health and education status, and strengthening their levels of preparedness for future disasters (DRR) with a community led approach.
Following were key responsibilities and achievements:
• Overseeing both hard and soft activities, pre-post KAP, Household assessment Survey, Physical Assessment of schools and sites for hand-pumps and SF, designing and implementation of drilling of boreholes, of hand pumps, Installation of water storage tanks, construction of hand washing pads, construction of inclusive latrines, rehabilitation of existing latrines, water quality analysis & treatment of existing/developed sources, Health & hygiene promotion through PHAST/CHAST approaches, CBDRM and School Safety Plans development through Village Development Committees and School Management Committees, DRR awareness sessions, First Aid and Search & Rescue Trainings with communities and schools and mock drills and transact walks etc.
• Liaising and coordination with Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Municipal Corporation, Public Health Engineering Department, Education, Health, Social Welfare, Rescue 1122 and TMAs for WASH and DRR interventions.
• Responsible for the project management and operations like data analysis, progress documentation & reporting, logistics arrangements and technical assistance to project team.
• Operational head of Finance, Logistics, Admin, Human Resources, procurement and the security units as filed level.

Responsible person for the whole grants cycle (proposal development, Budgeting, partner selection, due diligence, implementation, monitoring and reporting), managing the project titled “Institutional Support for Participatory, Inclusive and Responsive Education” (herein referred to as INSPIRE-II) in Swat District”. The project is funded by Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) through CARE USA and project duration is 36 months starting January 1, 2015. Major activities were as following:

• Developed and implemented Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) for middle classes after approval of provincial government in collaboration with DCTE, PITE and RITE (KP) through strong advocacy .
Managing, recruiting and capacity building of project staff.
• Rehabilitated 35 primary schools to be used for 2nd shift middle classes through Communities/PTCs in coordination with Engineers after procurement of contractors and materials.
• Capacity building of PTCs, Government officials, Teachers and Youth with the guidance and framework of E&SED (KP).
• Technical training to 300 youth on identified skills in collaboration with TEVTA and 100 Home based women workers trained and market linkages developed
• Soft skills manuals developed for teachers and students training held.
PTCs forums at cluster level and district level formed and advocating for better service delivery.
• Overall implementation of project activities were managed through local NGO; including planning, project administration/implementation, capacity building of project staff and coordination with implementing partners, government department(s), & CARE country office team.
• Financial and program reviews and budget revisions as per requirement
• Policy Advocacy for the adoption and replication of ALP model to improve girls education in KP.
• CARE and partners were represented on all educational forums and alliance, participating in development of new project proposal.

Working in USAID funded project, following were the major achievements:
• Capacity building of reporting staff on Fixed Obligation Grants, CMR and CRP packages reviews, communication with partners and fellow staff.
• On the job support provided to sub offices of AJK, FATA, Punjab, Baluchistan, Islamabad region and KP regarding small grants packages development.
• Managing MIS of potential partners like organizational assessment scoring sheets, ranking criteria based on Risk
analysis, milestone framework template, and subgrant agreement templates of small grants reviewed and finalized.
• Milestone, budgeting, proposal reviews and objective alignment matrix reviewed for 18 Complementary Reading
Program grants up to US$ 100,000 each for further approval of USAID.
• Milestones and subgrant agreement reviewed for 75 Community Managed Reading Grants up to US$2,000 each
finalized for approval of competent authority.
• Relevant data collected from field and provided in timely manner for preparation of Monthly and Quarterly
progress reports for Donor.

Education Sector Manager (2013-14)
• Managed sub-grants to local partners: identification of partners, organizational assessments, capacity building, RFP issuance, evaluations of proposals, awarding contracts, M & E, review, managing payments after verification of milestones and documents and closing Subgrant.
• Improved capacity of project field staff of partners (local NGOs) in procurement, finance, community engagement, event management, leadership and report writing.
• Provided technical assistance, administrative support and feedback in education and technical education project development
• Prepared successful project proposal (program and budget proposals)
• As lead professional development trainer, trained program staff of CARE on People Soft and Adaptive planning (budgeting and Grants software) and USAID procurement procedures, rules, and regulations (FAR, AIDAR, ADS, OMB), Gender, Advocacy, Girls Education, and sub-grant management.
• Participated and represented CARE in discussions, dialogues, seminars etc., in education networks of Pakistan.

Education Project Manager (2011-2013)
• Being focal person of Education project in Swat, Rehabilitated 40 and reconstructed 2 fully damaged schools in Swat after militancy and flood in coordination with PDMA (KP) and E&SED (KP).
• Improved involvement of communities in school renovation and reconstruction in flood and conflict affected areas of Swat.
• Improved class room teaching and learning of students of project schools through training of project school teachers on desired skills.
• Improved harmony/social cohesion and peace among people of Swat by 300+ sports and recreational events at UC and District level in conflict prone area of Swat.
• Improved youth development in project areas through active youth forums in 42 communities.
Improved governance in schools through SMCs.

• Developed Business Training Networks (Employers, Trainees, Implementing Partners and Governments) for Energy, Health, Textile and Carpet sector.
• Developed linkages with Chambers of Commerce, Employers’ Associations, TEVTA and market for identifying employers needs for skilled employees, developing demand driven curricula and conducting trainings.
• Prepared Request for Proposals and coordinated the technical and financial review of the proposals for subgrants under the JOBS project
• Organizational Risk Assessment (based on USAID rules, technical & financial) of the 12 implanting partners of the project in three provinces of Pakistan, M & E of the ongoing activities, reviews, milestone verification, managing payments from Finance department and closing of projects and audit.

• Conducted TNA of District officials (especially Education and Health Departments) and other functionaries for local government performance enhancement.
• Developed Capacity of District Government staff on budget making, development planning, performance management, and action planning.
• Coordinated trainings of Health Mangers on the use of Health Management Information System (HMIS) for evidence based decision making in 5 districts of Punjab.
• Developed performance management tools for school education and implemented in 5 districts
• Coordinated citizen consultations and focus group discussions to involve them in participatory district and Tehsil

National Commission of Human Development (NCHD) in coordination with DTCE implemented Capacity Building project for the local governments in Pakistan under Local Government Ordinance 2001. As District Program Manager (Capacity Building) of District Sialkot following were the major achievements:

A. Capacity Building of District Government Officers and Elected Representatives of District & Tehsil of Sialkot on: Planning and Budgeting, CCB Rules, and Monitoring by District and Tehsil Monitoring as per Punjab Local Government Ordinance -2001.
B. Facilitation and Technical Assistance to:-Zila and Tehsil Councils in the formation and notification of ZMCs and TMCs, Monitoring Visits of Zila Monitoring Committees (Health, Education, Literacy, Works and CD), Monitoring Visits of Tehsil Monitoring Committees, Government Officers in preparation of Annual Budget, Organizing seminar for Exclusive Classification of CCB projects by inviting CSOs, CBOs, Women Organization, Elected Representatives and Government officers, Issuance of Budget Call Letters by Zila and Tehsil in consultation with all stakeholders (CSOs, CBOs, Women Organization, Elected Representatives, Musalihat Anjuman and Government officers), Monitoring of CCB projects along with monitoring committees, Preparation of Quarterly Work Plan of Zila and Tehsil Monitoring Committees, Ensuring 25 % allocation of development budget for CCBs and District Council Secretariat Sialkot and Tehsil Councils in rules and business as per LGO-2001.

• Coordination with Secretary Education, Government of the Punjab, Director Public Instruction (DPI) schools, Punjab, Directorate of Staff Development, and Executive District Officers (EDOs Education) of all the districts of Punjab for implementation of 5 years education project.
• Construction and equipping 500 science and mathematics labs in 34 districts of Punjab
• Development of training manuals for master trainers, science teachers at secondary and middle level and head teachers of all the schools of Punjab.
• Development of science charts, science kits and model lessons for government schools of Punjab.
• Managed training of 418 Master Trainers in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and General Science in coordination with National Institute of Science and Technical Education Islamabad (NISTE) and Directorate of Staff Development (DSD) Punjab Lahore.
• Establish and strengthened 70 Regional Training Centers in government schools of 35 Districts of Punjab as resource center and trainings.
• Managed the training of 3825 elementary school teachers in the subject of General Science.
• Managed the training of 6800 Secondary School Teachers of all Punjab in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
