PURPOSE:
Manage and supervise the production operations of workshops, process control and improvements to ensure achieving department objectives of maintaining quality standards, defect free products and on time deliveries while complying with QMS and company rules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execution of production plans (Monitor production activities, planning, time management)
- Maintain data of daily, weekly and monthly plans and ensure production activities as per plans prepared and production targets achieved accordingly.
- Process control and improvements in workshops (Utilization of manpower, identification of production barriers, optimum output)
- Complaints handling (Root cause investigations, corrective action plans)
- Quality control and quality assurance (In-process QC)
- Monitor and manage production KPI's (Capacity, targets, rework/rejection, cost)
- Achievement of operational excellence (Productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, minimize waste)
- Occupational health and safety (Use of PPE's, Health and safety trainings)
- Training and development of workers (Training need analysis)
