Research associate at Pakistan Agricultural Research council Headquarters in Agricultural science and technology indicators projectWith the collaboration of International food policy reseach Institute PARC collect the most accurate data on agricultural research systems in Pakistan. By collecting Data on investments, human capacity,research outputs and institutional developments allows us to illustrate trends and gaps in agricultural system, inform decision making and help to set agricultural priorities that ultimately lead to higher income, greater food security and better nutrition. Users of project output include national, agricultural and finance ministries, regional and subregional research organizations, as well as international and donor institutions. I dentified key staffing gaps and helped support training, encouraged decisions to raise researcher salary levels, informed efforts to restructure and reforms national agricultural systems, tracked progress towards agricultural development commitments and investment targets
