Computer aided Modelling, Analysis and Design of Transmission Tower

This Project presents the Computer aided modelling and design methodology of Transmission tower structure using SAP 2000. Due to rapid urbanization and increase in population in Pakistan, there is need to supply optimum utilization of electric supply which ultimately leads to the construction of transmission tower. The contemplations from both structural and electrical fields are viewed in designing transmission line towers, for safe and economic aspects. By considering different aspects (voltage, tower type, reliability level, topography and geometry) a number of various types of loading combinations are being used and design is made according to most critical and suitable one for required topography. Design of most suitable, safe and economical foundation system is also being done in response to the most critical loading combination.
