The applicant has worked as a WATSAN Manager at MSF-France to install the Aquaforce treatment plant and recover water sources at Charsadda in the 2022 floods in Pakistan. In addition, he did his research and job experience in water and sanitation. Ph.D. in decentralized sanitation system for biogas generation to ensure environmental and public health. He did part of his research at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, USA. Moreover, he did his MS in Sustainable Water Sanitation Health and Development. The applicant work as a WATSAN officer in WAQIPH and WAQIPH-2 with COMSATS in UNICEF projects in Kashmir, Battagram, and Mansehra. He was also part of the team as a water quality analyst with the HRDS project about WASH interventions in the 2010 floods at Charsadda funded by UNICEF. Lastly, the applicant did his MS research on Evaluating the Perceptions and insufficiencies related to water and sanitation in the Afghan refugee Camp Mansehra. In this research, he evaluated the WASH interventions by different organizations and their cultural acceptability. and compatibility with UNHCR standards for refugees.
In short, the applicant has savvy in research and work experience with WASH at the national and international levels for emergencies and post-emergencies. This could be helpful for sustainability and sustainable development for the community.
