Responsibiliies• Management of overall branch operations, ensuring efficiency, effective controls and maintenance of quality service level.• Supervising branch operations pertaining to clearing, remittances, collections online operations etc.• Ensure proper handling of branch’s daily cash, maintenance of proper liquidity levels, daily closing of cash and its reconciliation with branch’s books and system; • Ensuring compliance with SBP’s requirements pertaining to cash handlingoperations.• Ensuring that accounts are opened and maintained in line with bank’s internal procedures and KYC requirements of SBP.• Ensure that the cheque books are issued as per prescribed procedure minimizing chances of fraudulent activity.• To supervise the control over HR related matters including Attendance, Leaves, Ethics, backups, etc.• To sign off daily position report and exchange position reports for treasury/ head office perusal.• To supervise/sign various periodic reports/statements to be sent to Head Office and Regulatory Authorities including SBP and various other Law enforcement agencies.• Keep the team motivated, delegated to the tasks and effective & efficient in decision making. • Further ensure timely completion of given assignments as per job descriptions, goal setting and conducting of performance appraisals.• Correspondence with the internal and external auditors for the implementation of designed policy and procedures.
