I have to work in the social sector for 4 years with different organizations as Community mobilized, Hygiene promotion officer, outreach worker.
Plan and organize OTP/CMAM activities at designated distribution sites in liaison with the health facility In-charge.
Work closely with DoH Health staff to ensure all aspects of the program are understood and appropriate referrals take place to and from the CMAM outreach and are well-integrated into the Primary Health Care and CMAMI approach.
Work closely with the health facility staff (MO/FMO/LHV), IYCF promoter, and LHWs to ensure all children are screened correctly at the health facility/OTP center and within the targeted area.
Ensure all criteria are respected and understood by the team and community groups, including; admission, discharge, and transfer to and from the community or other source.
Ensure correct clinical diagnosis at the time of anthropometric assessment so that the SAM patient receives appropriate treatment and enrollment-based OTP admission criteria.
Ensure adequate availability of all medical and Therapeutic food supplies and ensure stock is pre-positioned as planned by discussing with Nutrition Officer and logistics.
Regular and strong coordination with PHC/CMAMI, NSC, and Outreach staff on referral and integrated case management package.
Report on progress and any problems in a timely manner to health facility In-charge and nutrition supervisor/officer
Attaining disseminating the appropriate knowledge of health and hygiene.
Attaining the appropriate knowledge of the working area, community, key stakeholders, and local influencers.
Forming program support committees at the village level.
Educating community on health hygiene at community and institutional level.
Conducting regular meetings with all those committees for sensitization (WASH, health hygiene and safe drinking & sanitation water).
Conducting WASH sessions on mohallas and village level to deliver key impact messages of the program.
Providing IEC materials at the community & institutional level
Ensuring visibility and awareness of the program in the community as per MoU protocols.
Forming committees of females in the community and conducting sessions to disseminate key messages (health hygiene, WASH, IYCF) with the support of local volunteers.
Maintaining a good partnership and relationship with humanitarian workers present in the area.
Reporting all events/activities on a weekly/daily basis to database officer.
In case of any emergency/mishap HEALTH/Hygiene Educator worker should try to do the best by using his/her own personal experience but before undertaking that action he/she must consult the Project coordinator if in case none of them are available then consult the Head office.
Identify and arrange introductory meetings with the contact persons for the program expansion.
Developed tehsil & village profile including population, repatriation detail, existing infrastructures, needs of the communities, etc.
Hold first dialogues meetings with the communities.
Introduce the program concept and develop a long-term vision of the program in the organized communities.
Motivate villagers to organize themselves.
Assist communities in needs identification and prioritization.
Introduce program packages with organized communities.
Give social guidance to the organized communities.
In collaboration with the relevant section develop training events for the Activists from the community.
Preparation of the investment plan/portfolio of opportunities with the organized communities.
Preparing daily dairies about social mobilization activities for submission to the Project Coordinator.
Any action of yours should be in knowledge of Project Coordinator and if he/she is not available then it should be in knowledge of Head office.
Respect and follow the decisions taken by the Project Coordinator.
To mobilize the enumerators regarding PCM (post-campaign monitoring)
To organize and facilitate the enumerators for field activities. Online data sending, reporting, and close coordination with senior management and stakeholders. Attend monthly training with apex.
Ensure correct and timely information to customers through PRISM.
Use appropriate communication inventory to reach customers.
Follow up with relevant stakeholders for improved customer communication through PRISM.
Provide timely reports regarding customer feedback.
Establish strong feedback channels.
Monitor and evaluate reporting employees.
