Lead and manage overall financial reporting of production plant. Manage a Finance team and work closely with senior management to make sound business decisions.
Planning & forecasting, prepare forecasted cashflow, profit and balance sheet simulations for future business plans.
Funds management, ensure sufficient funds are available to meet on-going operations and capital requirements.
Responsible for month end close, financial statements, review of general ledger, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations with compliance to IFRS/IAS.
Computation of landed cost of imported material and equipment’s.
Batch wise closing of production & batch wise cost comparison.
Identification of operating losses and designing of control procedures.
Review comparative statement of monthly profit & loss with accounts data and monitor variances & wastage.

Responsible for preparation of financial statements, management information reports, forecasting, budgeting and projections
Ensure compliance of operations with internal policies, regulations while ensuring filings (Tax, SECP, etc) are completed in a timely manner
Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, reconciliations etc
Checking of aging analysis of the accounts receivable and accounts payable on weekly and monthly basis.
Cash flow management, forecasting and corporate relationships
Review, update and develop internal control systems; manage and oversee internal audits for the compliance with the policies and standards.
Preventive and corrective measures for fraudulent activities (forensic accounting)
Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
Analyze budgeting and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls.
Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Provide support to project management team in cost management of projects throughout various stagesÂ
Oversee the cost control systems, managges and inerprets cost audits, and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to top management.
