I have 27 years of diversified working experiences with specialisation in project management, Institutional development,policy documents modification and enrichment, capacity building, social mobilisation, economic development and entrepreneurship . I am founder of the MIED Pakistan which works for quality education and development across Pakistan. I have also worked as a caretaker minister in the interim government during 2014-15 nominated by the Primary Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Currently I am leading MIED Pakistan as CEO. In my volunteer capacity, I work for Aga Khan Rural Support Program (AKRSP) as Director BoG and for WORK, NO WORDS Cooperative Housing Society Islamabad Pakistan as President. I am also a proactive member of INEE (Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergency). I have completed my masters level education (Masters in Education and in Teachers Education) from Aga Khan University Institute for Education Development (AKU-IED), Karachi Pakistan. Currently I am leading MIED Pakistan at Country level as Chief Executive? Founding Executive Director.
Worked as Executive Director MIED to lead the organisation and its programs .
I was nominated by the Prime Minister Pakistan for the position of Caretaker Minster for Gilgit-Baltistan during year 2015 for 6 months
I have been engaged in implementing MIED\'s projects throughout Pakistan. My role from MIED\'s establishment in 2003 till to date included:
• Established MIED as a local NGO in Ghizer Gilgit-Baltistan in 2003
• Initiated SIP Project in District Mansehra KPK in 2004
• Established MIED Office in ICT Islamabad in 2006 and its HQ is in Islamabad till to date
• Led MIED\'s Presence in GB since 2003 ( in Ghizer District)
• Established MIED Girls College Phander in 2005
• Initiated Community Managed ECCD Centers in Tehsil Phander in 2005
• Community Mobilization for their contribution in Community Managed Schools in all Tehsils – Yasin, Ishkoman, Punial and Phander since Janaury 2010 through Funding Support from PPAF )
• Led MIED Presence in KPK since 2004 (Mansehra September 2004 to 2014( Battagram 2006 - 2012, Abbottabad since 2009 to date, Chitral 2010 to 2013) , Peshawar & Mardan 2013 - 2014 )
• Led Presence in Punjab since 2005 (Chakwal November 2005 to June 2016), Mianwali from 2010 to 2013) Rajanpur - Muazafergarh -Layyah 2010 & 2011)
• Worked in AJ & K (in 2007 and 2008 for education rehabilitation after earthquake (Muzaffarabad)
• Led MIED Presence in Sindh from 2010 to 2014 (Interventions to built the capacity of local NGOs in 2010 and 2011 (Ghotki, Khairpur, Tahtta) and UNICEF Project in Karachi
• Led MIED\'s Presence in Baluchistan through a Local Partner SHAOR from Dec 2012 to 2014 (in Pishin and Quetta)
