PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Rahnuma- FPAP a Lahore based largest and oldest right based NGO working at national level in the broader areas of SRHR, women empowerment, abortion, HIV & AIDS, etc. since 1954.
Working as a Manager Advocacy and Communication (June 2010- to date), based at FPAP Head office /- Lahore.

Responsible to: Director Advocacy and CEO and directly supervising a team of five officials (Communication Officer, Donor Liaison Officer, Officer Documentation and Resource Center and Graphic Designer).

Key Focus areas of Work:
• As a technical expert represent Rahnuma-FPAP on various National and Provincial governments constituted Committees, Task Forces, Forums etc.
• Serve as an advocate on behalf of Rahnuma-FPAP on various networks, Coalitions, Caucuses media, civil society organizations, policy makers and think tanks.
• As an advocacy expert exhibit and promote organizational strategic focus and image and enhance resource base among various bilateral and multilateral donors and UN system organizations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and national member organizations, as well as identify and facilitate collaborative work among members.
• Build partnership/ coalitions with national and provincial stakeholders on SRHR, women empowerment, youth & adolescent, LGBTs and other marginalized and vulnerable issues.
• Develop and produce materials on advocacy in collaboration with and for use by our members and allies.
• Share organizational management responsibilities with other Rahnuma- FPAP staff, including administrative, logistical and event support.
• Work with other staff to contribute to the organization’s broader goals of building a stronger movement for equitable rights of the people.
• Content management of Rahnuma-FPAP website, Facebook and other social media tools.

Centre for Health & Population Studies (CHPS) is an internationally renowned Academic & Research institution based in Lahore.
Worked as a Assistant Director Partnership and Advocacy (January2010-June 2011)

Main responsibilities:
• Perform research and analyses on policy issues for senior team, including gathering internal data from multiples sources, analyzing best practices and making recommendations for new policies and procedures.
• Oversee expansion of activities to new projects and processes
• Track implementation of initiatives and projects, ensuring progress and providing information, analysis and other support as needed.
• Responsible for departmental agenda and meeting coordination.
Manage Provost\'s internal communications, including handling email communications, drafting correspondence and creating content for the Provost\'s web page.
• Responsible for coordination and tracking of all sponsor progress reporting requirements.
• Assists research department staff in writing periodic reports to comply with grant requirements.
• Work with Development and Finance division in managing different programs,
• Assist with special program at the local and regional level
• assist and conduct other duties as assigned.

Citizens’ Commission for Human Development (CCHD) Lahore, (rights based NGO/ NPO and an active member of Pakistani civil society, striving for an equitable and harmonious environment at the macro level while committed to provide sustainable socioeconomic solutions at the micro level through advocacy, lobbying, networking, capacity building and community services more specifically women, children and socially excluded groups.).
It mainly works in formal and informal education, legal reforms, policy research and advocacy.
Worked as a Manager Advocacy and Communications (July2010-December 2010 )at head office of CCHD- Lahore.

Main Responsibilities:
• Preparing and marketing proposals and concept papers for fundraising.
• Maintaining liaison and coordination with donor agencies and other CCHD partners.
• Preparing and lobbying initiatives for organization.
• Writing, publishing and disseminating reports, briefs, profiles etc.
• Preparing project work plans and their budgetary allocations.
• Carry out need assessments, project monitoring, progress evaluation, midterm review and impact assessments.
• Maintain coordination with line agencies and grass root partners.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, biannually and annual reports.
• Prepare and submit project close out reports and maintain their follow up with donor agencies.
