Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the transportation department, including coordination of student and staff transportation, vehicle maintenance, route planning, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and university policies. Also, ensuring the efficient functioning of administrative processes related to insurance and accidentals.
Administrative Management: Supervise and coordinate administrative tasks, including office maintenance, supplies management, and record-keeping
Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Fleet management: Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of university-owned vehicles, including buses, vans, and other transportation assets.
Schedule and oversee routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Route Planning and Scheduling: Plan and optimize transportation routes for students, faculty, and staff.
Ensure timely and efficient transportation services, including pick-up and drop-off schedules.
Supervision of Transportation Staff: Lead, train, and manage transportation staff, including drivers and support personnel.
Create driver schedules, assign routes, and monitor performance.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Implement safety protocols and provide training to reduce accidents and ensure passenger safety.
Inventory and Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of transportation assets and inventory, including fuel usage and vehicle maintenance.
Coordinate with the university\\\'s procurement and facilities departments for vehicle purchases, maintenance, and fuel.
Cost Control: Monitor and control transportation expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and labor costs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
Customer Service: Address student, faculty, and staff inquiries and concerns related to transportation services.
Ensure reliable and on-time transportation services to enhance the university experience.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain transportation records, reports, and performance metrics.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and prepare regular reports for university administration.
Assisting in the management of sponsor relationships, ensuring the well-being of sponsored children, and providing administrative support to the sponsorship team.
Sponsorship Coordination: Assist in the coordination of sponsorship agreements for orphaned children.
Facilitate communication between sponsors and sponsored children.
Child Well-being: Monitor the health, education, and overall well-being of sponsored children.
Ensure that children\'s needs are met through sponsor support.
Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks related to child sponsorship, including record-keeping, correspondence, and reporting.
Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for the sponsorship team.
Sponsor Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with sponsors, providing updates on the progress of their sponsored children.
Address sponsor inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of events or activities involving sponsored children.
Coordinate sponsor recognition and participation in child-related events.
Data Management: Manage databases and records related to sponsored children and their sponsors.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date information for effective sponsor-child connections.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that sponsorship agreements and child welfare standards are met.
Prepare and submit regular reports on sponsorship activities and child well-being to management.
Responsible for implementation of Right To Play activities in a project location under direct supervision of the District Coordinator and the support of the Training Officer in line with Right To Play International’s global strategy. The main responsibilities will be planning and implementing Right To Play sport and play, training and community mobilization activities in a community and Govt and partner Schools.

Provide orientation trainings to SSC about Life skills development through sport and play.
Create awareness about the roles and responsibilities of SSC, provide trainings to SSCs on how to mobilize their respective communities for active participation in play days, campaigns and awareness sessions.
Conduct regular and need based meetings with School Sport committees for their motivation in order to cooperate and support the development objectives of the project.
Conduct regular meetings with the communities and PTAs to explain the importance and advantage of the project.
Encourage youth in target areas to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the project, organize YAL (youth as a leader) workshops for youth to initiate culturally sensitive community-based interventions aim at ensuring sustained behavioral change. Through youth driven initiative project targets specific community issues e.g. through advocacy & awareness campaigns on kick out polio, Hand washing, health and hygiene promotion, girls’ education, early childhood education, child rights, child labour, peace building and environment protection and sustainability.
Mobilize and encourage the community leaders/elders to improve community involvement in youth initiated initiatives for more sustainable and profound impacts.
