In my capacity as the lead for Islamic Relief Pakistan within a multi-country project focused on climate change adaptation and mitigation, I orchestrate strategic initiatives aimed at bolstering the resilience of vulnerable communities. This project spans multiple nations, including Pakistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Afghanistan, with a primary goal of addressing the intricate challenges posed by climate change. the purpose of this project is to develop a CVCA (Climate Vulnerabilities and Capacities Analysis) toolkit for guiding development and humanitarian interventions.
Within this role, I spearhead the design and implementation of tailored interventions specifically geared towards mitigating climate change impacts in Pakistan. This includes the meticulous development and deployment of a Climate Vulnerability and Capacities Analysis Toolkit, meticulously crafted to assess and address the unique vulnerabilities of Pakistani communities.
My responsibilities encompass a comprehensive spectrum of activities, ranging from conducting rigorous needs assessments to executing targeted climate change awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts. I collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders, including staff members, local community organizations, non-governmental bodies, and governmental agencies, to ensure the seamless execution of project objectives and provide strategic guidance for future interventions.
Motivated by a profound dedication to humanitarian and development endeavors, coupled with my extensive expertise in climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies, I am committed to driving impactful change within Pakistan. Through my leadership role in this project, I endeavor to leverage my expertise to significantly enhance the resilience and well-being of vulnerable communities, thereby fostering sustainable development outcomes in Pakistan and beyond.

As a Project officer Following are my Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:


Develop and implement project plans, including clear objectives, work breakdown structures, timelines, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate challenges and ensure project milestones are achieved.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project activities align with organizational goals and objectives.


Team Coordination:


Lead and coordinate project teams, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to maximize team effectiveness.
Foster a positive team environment, promoting collaboration, effective communication, and professional development among team members.
Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project objectives.


Stakeholder Engagement:


Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including government entities, NGOs, community leaders, and beneficiaries.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure active participation, support, and ownership of project activities and outcomes.
Identify and mobilize resources from stakeholders to support project implementation and sustainability.


Monitoring and Evaluation:


Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project progress, measure impact, and capture lessons learned.
Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to inform evidence-based decision-making and ensure project effectiveness and efficiency.
Prepare regular project reports, presenting key findings, achievements, challenges, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.


Financial Management:


Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of funds and compliance with financial guidelines and donor requirements.
Track project expenditures, review financial reports, and prepare accurate budget projections for effective financial planning.

As a Livelihood Officer, I am providing support to communities affected by floods in Mirpur Khas, Sindh through the provision of multipurpose cash grants and other related interventions. My responsibilities include conducting detailed assessments of the affected areas and identifying the most vulnerable households in the communities.
Based on my assessments, I develop and implement programs to support affected households inside community, ensuring that the grants are used effectively to support people\'s livelihoods and well-being. I work closely with community leaders, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure that the grants are reaching to those who need it the most.
Moreover, Regular monitoring and evaluation of the program is conducted by involving MEAL team to track the progress and make necessary adjustments. I provide technical support and guidance to other staff and stakeholders working on livelihood programs, and manage program budgets to ensure that funds are used effectively and efficiently.

As a community development officer, I am responsible for sensitization, mobilization, capacity building, and training of the community in the project target area. In this connection, I support programmes aimed at reducing poverty and helping to improve the lives of people who live in deprived areas. I involve communities in seeking solutions to the problems they face in partnership with statutory and voluntary bodies, promote the programme locally, regionally and nationally through strategic engagement with key service providers and other regional and national bodies. have a holistitic unserstansing of the projects and assisst project managmers in reports writting, risk managment analysis, and other complementary assignmnets tasked by project leads.
Acheivment;
· Member of IRP Surge Emergency Response Roaster (SERR).
· Team lead in different relief operations.
· Assistance in compilation of professional M&E reports, flood assessment reports and household AGD data.
· Maintaining the beneficiaries’ records and databases with respect Sex, Age and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
· Reporting on the progress of project and program so that the latest updates are readily available for further utilization and consumption.
· Conducted needs assessment before planning the projects and programs to have the informed interventions.
·  Organized different trainings on different issues including child protection, women empowerment, WASH, and Skill development trainings for livelihood support.

· As a Program associate, I am responsible for designing, Implementing & reporting of Project activities. In addition, developing linkages with government
Line departments, private sectors or corporate sectors for creating enabling environment for business for widow families.
· To work in close collaboration with vocational skill providing institutions to develop and customize Training modules for those families as to speed up their earning process.
· In the pursuance of the process I have to develop effective linkages with government line departments and other stake holders as to hold them accountable to Continuous collaboration and knowledge sharing.
· To devise Strategies as to provide better market access to those families. Project narrative & financial reporting.
· To assist project coordinator in developing material for conferences, seminars and other relevant trainings.
·To develop quarterly and monthly progress reports to the manager along with report on daily project activities as well. 

· To implement overall program activities such as child welfare & protection, WASH, Food security & livelihood and seasonal programs like winterization.
· To develop community forums for smooth execution of program activities in target areas.
· To develop effective linkages with relevant stakeholders and district governments.
·  To develop project activities report’s for program manager and other relevant coordinators.
·  To work close with field teams for guidance and developing uniform mass mobilization frameworks.
·  Conducting Assessment studies in Rawalpindi, Islamabad & Peshawar for the planning of different programs.
·  Establishment of Women led community forums: women led community forums, elder forums, and youth forums were established in Rawalpindi for combating child protection and gender based violence, addressing food security and alternative livelihood opportunities.
 

EYAs  commit to get engaged in various volunteer activities at Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ASER/Right to Education/Children Literature Festival/ITA partners).
• Mobilise and motivate other young people to stand up for education.
• Make their voices heard in their communities by organizing events, participating in campaigns, writing letters to the editor, running petition drives and taking part in other campaign activities.
• Make their voices heard globally by writing blogs and news stories and sharing photographs and videos from events and projects for the ITA website and social media channels as well as for their partners.
• Organise and get involved with events and campaigns with their organization and schools and/or in partnership with other EYAs. Engage with their local stakeholders to achieve better results for education in Pakistan.
