After the catastrphic flood here in south punjab, Rajanpur is the district which is highly affected by this flood and after the flood UNICEF Initiated the emergency response to flood 2022 and initiated the WASH project with qatar charity where i was the part of team of Qatar charity as project Engineer and Following Duties/Responsibilities performed as part of Qatar charity team.
Responsibilities
Assement of Flood Affected areas for emergency resoponse.
Conduct technical feasibility in accordance with WASH related activiteis
Prepared and design the projects of water intervention Likel, WATER POND, Solarize water pump, Lead Hand Pump, Ro plants rehabilitation, Electrice cooler installation, Twin set latrines in schools.
Procurment Porcess, Bidding, Bid Analysis, Contract Managment, Porject Planing and implementaton, Reporting to Donor.
Prepared cost estimates and detaild BOQ\'S for all interventions.
Supervision of all ongoing activities to maintain quality and to achieve the targets as per timeline.

·       Prepare detailed cost estimates, planning, implementation and technical feasibility for project proposals
·       Determine staff input and time requirements for project construction, implementation and supervision & Ensure the QA/QC at projects
·       Establish strong liaison & linkages with PHED, LG&CDD, DDMA, District Administration,    District Health Office, District Education Office, and other stakeholders in the project location
·       Provide complete support during supervision of constructions; carry out quality control    inspections and monitor progress.
·       Supervise the ongoing construction activities of Afredev Hand Pumps and solar water  pumps implementation/execution as per standard required.
·       Site Selection as per Organizational and project Criteria.
·       Prepare Design, Drawing & BOQs
·       Supervision of Ongoing Sites to execute the project as per specification and standards
·       Installation of Afridev Hand Pump and Construction of Twin Set Latrines in Target Area.

·       Provide basic technical trainings to the local communities for the sustainability of the CPI projects and where possible develop and propose new projects
·       Support in the technical session in community conducted by Filed engineers and Social mobilization team through development of session contents and manuals as required.
·       Conduct the sanitation marketing assessments & conducting the feasibilities and technical surveys and Carry out in technical assessments at field level.
·       Support in proper handing over of WASH infrastructure to community-based organizations or committees.
·       Ensure quality assurance and quality control of the contractor\'s work through following their work plans.
·       Work closely with the social mobilization team in proper identification of the targeted villages as per TOR of the project
·       Assist the Project Manager in other tasks and perform other related duties as required by the Senior Management and other donors.

·       Supervision of Play Ground Site for Disable Person at JALOZAI Refugees Camp Noshehra.
·       Site arrangements ot execute the Project within given timeline
·       Site Clearing, Layout and Leveling (With Auto Level)
·       Procure Material at working Site for Implementation
·       Construction Supervision of Accessible Ramps for Disabled Persons
·       Repairing and Maintenance of wash facilities and accessible ramps in Provincial Secretariat Peshawar

Project:          Poverty Alleviation & Community Development (PA-CD)
Location:        Jhang (Punjab).
Position:         Field Engineer (01 Aug 2016 to 31 Jan 2018)
Responsibilities:
·       Project activities introduction.
·       Establish initial contact with community for introduction of program.
·       Prepare the Maps with the assistance of GPS coordinate and Google earth.
·       Assessment of the small community infrastructure.
·       Conduct survey of site for feasibility.
·       Conduct Environmental Assessment Survey for CPI Schemes.
·       Prepare the location map with the assistance of GPS coordinate and Google Earth.
·       Design and estimate of community based projects.
·       Supervision for implementation of small schemes.
·       Daily reporting, weekly reporting and monthly reporting regarding Field activities.

Project:          Livelihood and Small Community Infrastructure Program
                        (LACIP)
Location:        Haripur (KPK).
Position:         Field Engineer (01 Jan 2016 to 01-08-2016)
Responsibilities:
·       Project activities introduction. (IAUP: integrated area uplift program)
·       Establish initial contact with community for introduction of program.
·       Assessment of the small community infrastructure.
·       Conduct survey of site for feasibility.
·       Prepare the location map with the assistance of GPS coordinate and Google Earth.
·       Design and estimate of community based projects.
·       Ensure on time completion of the tasks in line with BoQs and designs.
·       Supervision for implementation of small schemes.
·       Daily reporting, weekly reporting and monthly reporting regarding Field activities.
·       Providing technical guidance, training and support to individuals targeted by each project in line with the programme strategy and intended output[s].
·       Report to the Civil Engineer on a daily basis about progress and challenges faced.

Project:          Hydro Power and Renewable Energy (HRE)
Location:        Bannu & Lakki Marwat (KPK).
Position:         Field Engineer (01 Dec 2013 to 15 Sep 2015)
 
Responsibilities:
·       Project activities introduction.
·       Establish initial contact with community for introduction of program.
·       Assessment of the Off Grid area’s in Bannu & Lakki Marwat.
·       Coordinate of off Grid areas with GPS.
·       Conduct survey of site for validation of solar PV system.
·       Prepare the Maps with the assistance of GPS coordinate and Google earth.
·       Work on Homer software for solar PV system.
·       Cluster wise conduct a Base line survey of Off Grid area’s community in Bannu & Lakki Marwat.
·       Daily reporting, weekly reporting and monthly reporting regarding Field activities.

 Project: “Lower Bari Doab Canal Improvement Project (LBDCIP)”           Location: Okara
 Position:  Assistant Surveyor (1St Nov 2013 to 25th Nov) 
Responsibilities
·       Assist and help surveyors in performing field surveys
·       Participate and coordinate on-field surveys
·       Take measurements
·       Collaborate with surveyors in performing daily activities
·       Transport, handle and maintain survey equipment’s and utensils
·       Use technical and digital equipment and tools in order to perform daily activities
 

             Project: “Disaster Emergency Response Program”
            Location: Narowal (Emergency Based Project).
            Position: Field Engineer (1St Sep. 2013 to 5th oct)                                       
Responsibilities:
·       To measure the transparent location identification through GPS for distribution point.
·       Assessment of flood effectives for rehabilitations and early response of Narowal District under the supervision of National Rural Development Program (NRDP).
·       Coordinate with GPS for flood affected areas.

Helps in the Mobilization and Activation of Community.
Compile the project data on daily basis.
Participate in the elaboration of designs and BoQs when required.
Support community mobilisers and village steering committees in the identification and verification of skilled laborers.
Support and supervise daily skilled and unskilled worker’s / project volunteers and give them useful instruction regarding their work improvement, through coordination with the relevant skilled staff.
