Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities

Good understanding of Electrical Drawings, Planning of Projects, Erection Maintenance
Both practical as well as theoretical knowledge of Different Electrical Instruments
Regular analyzing of organizations Electrical Load Consumption with Ratios and analysis.
To co-ordinate with Electrical Contractor for Electrification, Execution, Erection Commissioning

To provide the entire electrical solutions as per requirement.
To check the entire work as according to approved drawings.
To manage whole project right from inception to completion.
To coordinate with consultants, suppliers and contractor regarding Electrical and Mechanical
equipment's.
To ensure quality of E M, installation, supervision, completion, testing, commissioning, etc

To prepare the weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports for the project in collaboration with other concerned sections
Preparing and updating Project Plan of Work.
To Make RFIs and Commissioning Reports after Inspection accordingly ITP, given drawings and IEC/IEEE standards.

Construction supervision conforming to bidding documents/clients specifications and IEC/IEEE standards.

Making RFI (Request for Inspection) for Electrical Work on daily.
Making all the Electrical documents and daily report.
Ensure that all the works are carried out as per final construction drawings
Visit site early in morning before the working start and check all the Electrical work which are done on previous day.
Check the drawing on daily basis to ensure any alternation or any missing thing in drawing which may cause any delay in installation work.
Remain at site till the completion of installation activity i.e. Earthing mesh installation, Earthing mesh continuity checks, embedded parts installation and reviewing with the coordination of Civil and Architectural drawings.
Always in contact with civil and Mechanical Engineering Team to ensure Project working schedule with daily weekly and monthly progress status
Joint inspection of all Installation activity with Contractor and Consultants team members.
Preparing Daily, Weekly Monthly Reports
Coordinate with the site QC Manager for the completion of as-built turnover documentation
Participating in meetings with Client and Consultants to ensure the site activities as per the requirement
Review of Electrical and Mechanical Technical submissions as per IEC and IEEE standards, Documents/Drawings from the Sub-Contractor before submitting to the Employer.
Installation of Equipments done by me and my team at site.
Earthing at Power House, Head Race Tunnel (HRT) and Bypass Tunnel, Bypass Inlet and Outlet, Weir Apron, Weir Control Room.
Installation of Electrical Embedded Pipes (EMB), Lighting Pipes (LTS), PVC for high voltage at Power House and Weir Side.
Installation of ladder Type, Cascade Cable Trays at both Power House and Weir Side.
Installation of Segregated Phase Busbar (SPB), Main Transformer (MTR), Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG), 11KV Cubical, 0.4KV Switch Gear, Station service transformer and excitation transformer installation
Right now Installing AIS and GIS.
Commission and Testing done under my supervision at Patrind Hydropower Project.
Pre- Commission also Commission of 25 ton temporary gantry carne and 8 ton crane for GIS.
Pre-Commission of stator core losses test.
