This position will be responsible for preparing SRS, FMEA, Software Requirements, the Validation Test Process and will act as a liaison with external test agencies with the goal of meeting target Safety Integrity Level of product(s).
Education/Experience/Skills
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, software, physics, or other disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years specifically related experience on safety products/systems used in utility industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of SIL design & certification processes.
- Experience with PLC type equipment
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical specifications and drawings.
- Demonstrated prior experience of successful completion of a safety instrumented embedded product/system.
