Blockchain Developer is responsible for developing and optimizing blockchain protocols, crafting the architecture of blockchain systems, developing smart contracts and web apps using blockchain technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborating with managers to determine blockchain technology needs and envisaged functionalities.
Creating application features and interfaces by using programming languages and writing multithreaded codes.
Applying the latest cryptology techniques to protect digital transaction data against cyberattacks and information hacks.
Developing PoCs to enable rapid prototyping of ideas.
Designing and developing back-end blockchain functionality.
Maintaining client and server-side applications.
Optimizing and securing blockchain applications by integrating new tools and technologies.
Documenting blockchain development processes and complying with best practices in data protection.
Keeping up with current blockchain technologies and cryptography methods.
Managing available resources such as hardware, data, and personnel so that deadlines are met
Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
Develop specialist knowledge in relevant programming languages, tools, techniques and apply expertise and knowledge to deliver effective solutions.
Share expertise and provide technical advice and guidance to others.
Implement standard processes, tools, metrics, measurement, and reporting.
Identify opportunities for improvement in software development processes.
Pro-actively demonstrate required behavior in line with expectations of the role.

COMPETENCIES DESIRED

React JS, Node. JS, Cryptography, Hyperledger, Solidity, Smart Contracts algorithms, Data structures and Data security.
Extensive experience in back-end development, algorithms, and data structures.
Understanding of various distributed consensus methodologies (Mining, PoS, etc).
Knowledge of best practices in blockchain management and data protection.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Superb organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Familiarity with different technical tools (Linux, JIRA, Git).
Current knowledge of industry trends and technology advancements in Network Security is an asset.
Broad knowledge of a range of software development and delivery life cycles, agile, iterative, waterfall with detailed knowledge of one or more.
Knowledge of different vendors’ DevOps products, pros & cons of industry DevOps tools.
Agile software product development techniques.
Collaborative development and working in virtual teams requiring good communication with business customers and technology teams
