- ZINAM Technologies (Private) Limited is a young technology company based in Karachi, working as a versatile support center for our parent company based in Canada.
- Our parent company is a licensed Telecommunications company offering High-Speed Internet & Phone Services at affordable prices without compromising the quality of service.
- We are looking for an Network / System Admin who will be responsible to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our Network & in-house information systems that support core organizational functions.
- This Role Requires Both Network Administration & System Administration.
Skills & Requirements:
- You will be managing our state of the Art Data Centre built with one of the largest IP Networks of the world.
- Manage Core ISP Network based on various CISCO Switches & Routers.
- Mainly CISCO ASR 1002-X and 1001-X etc.
- Manage & monitor Multi Gig links with our upstream providers.
- Must have knowledge Managing Network providing DSL and Cable Internet Services.
- Must be Proficient in LINUX Operating System.
- Must have experience in Managing Radius Servers.
- You must know VMWare Systems & Virtualization Technologies
- Troubleshoot hardware software and equipment
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases.
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands on experience of Network Administration & Management.
- Must have senior CCIE Certification in Switching & Routing or Data Centre technologies.
- Hands on experience of Switching & Routing with CISCO Routers & Switches.
- Hands on experience with configuring DNS Servers & DHCP Servers.
- Must be familiar with Radius Systems especially Open Radius.
- Must be familiar with LINUX Server Technologies.
- Familiarity with LINUX Technologies will be an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of training coworkers and management
- Excellent and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly present options
- Knowledge of current technologies and software security best practices
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft office suite.
- Candidate must have a high degree of professionalism, with the ability to quickly and consistently exercise good judgment
- Self-motivated, action-oriented, organized and capable of managing multiple priorities on competing timelines
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
- Have a team-oriented approach to solving technical problems
Job Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at a time
- Self starter that can prioritize projects to meet the needs of stakeholders
- Effective time management and superior organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to work between the hours of 3pm to 11pm as our overseas office works in eastern standard time.
- You will be on call for off hour support.
- You will be working form our office on Main Shahra-e-Faisal.
