I have gained advanced skills in conducting, implementing and presenting research work in education. Similarly, working as an instructor with the Aga Khan University's Professional Development Center, Chitral, I have developed expertise in the field of teacher education, developing need-based resources for teacher training and facilitation of workshops for teachers. I have also gained the skills of budgeting, developing work plans, project management, strategic planning, linkage building and coordination. Most importantly, I have gained a mature understanding of educational issues in the Pakistani context, particularly in the rural resource-constrained context.
Working as a Program officer under the schools2030 program for the Aga Khan Foundation has been promising for me to gain a deep insight into Human Centered Design, and its philosophies for educational development through a bottom-up approach. I have developed a necessary understanding of the challenges and opportunities for the successful implementation of the Schools2030 program in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.
Responsibilities as a program officer schools2030
Providing overall support for the implementation of the project in the region/districts.
Leading schools selection for the Schools2030 program
Collecting and recording school profile data
Assisting in the human-centred design training and providing support to teachers and school administrators through the process.
Providing support to the schools and teachers to implement, track and showcase solutions to improve holistic learning outcomes, and use flexible response funds effectively and efficiently.
Assisting stakeholders with PROMISE3 and/or other assessment tracking portals
Assisting learning and assessment partners to successfully deliver the programmes monitoring, evaluation, assessment and learning component.
Providing technical inputs in the preparation of training materials whenever required.
Providing documentation and reports of activities, meetings, workshops to the National Coordinator, Schools2030
Preparing reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Coordinating with the other AKF departments for procurement and timely distribution of programme funds.
Facilitating and supporting the collection of regular data through monitoring activities as per the M&E plan.
Providing support and facilitating the identification of challenges and constraints faced during the implementation.
Formulating and developing activities based on project requirements.
Undertaking extensive travel across the region/districts on field visits.
Major Responsibilities include;
Facilitation of Certificate Programs, Advanced Diploma in Education and Early Childhood Education & Development (ECED) courses.
Conducting workshops for government school teachers.
Developing instructional materials/teacher training manual related to academic programs/projects.
Visiting schools for providing support to the teachers.
Scholarly work includes writing articles independently on assigned projects.
Pursuing publication of scholarly work in professional journals under the supervision of senior faculty.
Participating in research studies with senior colleagues including designing instruments, collecting, compiling & analyzing data.
Conducting and participating in various meetings and sessions with stakeholders in the schools and district education officials.
Ensuring active participation and contribution for committees as members & also providing ongoing feedback to supervisor for the same.
Participating in in-house faculty meetings, forums, policy-based discussions, various other meetings, etc.
Developing proposals for securing internal and external research grants.
Developing, conducting, interpreting and presenting research work in the field of education.
As a vice principal my responsibilities include;

As a lecturer my major responsibilities include, -teaching chemistry in class 9th, 1st and 2nd years students. -teaching science from 6th to 8th in school level. -
I also helped novice teachers in the area of content and pedagogy of teaching science subject.
