Design Engineer
• Conduct site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems
• Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial On-grid, Hybrid & Off-grid solar energy systems or components
• Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency using Helioscope, PVSyst etc.
• Create electrical SLDs and structure models for solar electric systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning and performance monitoring.
INTERNEE
Observed the main components of an alternator and diesel engine and learned their functions
in workshop department. Also performed load test of various gensets while working in service department.
