Performance review of OPD/ER orders for appropriateness (manual / online)
Assure drugs are dispensed in appropriate, safe and timely manner after final check
Performs daily assignments like temperature/humidity record, critical items lists

Prescription charging on Cash, Credit Card, Panel
Discussion of prescription problems with Dr./patients and intervention documentation
Providing drug info to HC staff and/or patient as and when needed
Suggest therapeutic and/or generic substitutes and minimize Rx bounce as much as possible.
Drug filling, labelling, and checking
Responsible for pt. education and counselling on medication and devices
Perform critical checking and record keeping of drug expiry
Monthly medication storage/floor stock inspection
Give refunds to unused/returned drugs
Issue periodic PAR level to other departments

Accurate medication dispensing according to prescription
Prescription handling
Patient’s data up-dation accordingly
Rechecking, charging, and filling of routine medication bins, delivery of routine medication to respective wings
Responsible for compounding of medications (topical, syrups, iv admixtures)
Good grip of pharmacy compounding and techniques
Participate in clinical ward rounds
Participation in stock inventory for auditing purpose
Trust medication handling
Oracle software by SKMH understanding
Assist the pharmacy supervisor in preparation and the maintenance of the preferred medicine list at MIH
Assist the pharmacy supervisor in ensuring appropriate purchase, storage, and cost-effective utilization of pharmaceuticals
Maintenance of policies and procedures relating to pharmacy operations and standards
Maintenance of pharmacy services in accordance with departmental standards and government laws and regulation
Orient, instruct and provision of work direction to new staff/ interns
Involved in patient post discharge care
Local purchase of unavailable medication
Stock management using FIFO/FEFO
Supply unit medication to in-patients
Items demand list making based on consumption
Independent shift handling
