概要

Security
Under the direct supervision of Head of Mission will regularly review security situation, analyze trends and
impact on programs and advice the country management team Prepare, revise and implement security
guidelines and establish reporting protocols ensure implementation of security policies and procedures and
make recommendations to ensure security/safety of staff and property Maintain an up to date security plan
consistent with standards and ensure that all staff is trained and is well familiar with its contents Liaise
with EAD, MOI, for strong follow up of NOCs and Security Clearance.
Security Focal Persons of all locations, relevant local authorities, UN agencies and INGOs Security forum and
regularly share security updates.
Coordination
Coordinate with the all Security logistics staff to ensure that DKH Pakistan Security logistics policies and
procedures are in place and functioning.
Represent DKH to other NGOs, agencies, Government authorities and other key players where requested.
Conduct an overview of the logistics needs issues for new projects and provide relevant advice to ensure that
specific logistics / procurement needs are included in project budgets
Effective communication with all relevant support functions on any issues relating to logistics and the
associated processes involved.
Effective communication with programme/project staff on any issues relating to Security logistics and the
associated processes involved.
Procurement
Take on overview management of the supplies procurement in Pakistan, ensuring that these follow the
standard DKH logistic guidelines. Includes local oprations purchase procurement plan of, supplier database,
requisitioning, quotation/tender, purchase order, material receiving, clearance, transport, warehousing
(including storage and stock control systems), issuing of supplies and distribution.
Monitor and regularly evaluate DKH vendors
Lead tendering and large bidding process and provide advice to established tender committees
Ensure compliance with Government, PEPRA, Donor policies and procedures.
Liaise with the other country Logistics Manger on procurement issues as necessary
Warehousing and Asset Management
Ensure proper storage and warehousing of assets and e stocks, including proper receiving and issuing of stocks,
maintenance of updated bin cards, and regular physical stock taking and spot checks for assets and office
equipment
Ensure coding and proper tagging of assets and the maintenance of an up to date and proper asset inventory for
office and HI rented houses
Make recommendation for disposal of assets and remaining programme stock and equipment
Prepare a quarterly equipment asset repairs analysis to feed into the advise for disposal
Transportation, Fleet management and Communication
Ensure proper controls for the movement, use and proper maintenance of DKH vehicles are in place and are
been followed by the programm staff.
Managing fleet monitoring chart monthly updated accordingly
Support in the development of analysis on transportation requirements in Pakistan and potential developments.
Air, road etc
Update established vehicle policy as necessary and ensure adherence of programme staff to the policy
and ensure that vehicle fleet management routines are established and maintained, including appropriate
management of drivers.
