Over 38 years of solid experience in the Civil Engineering and Building Construction, Project Management, Cost Management,
Contract Administration, Claims Management and Dispute Resolution using local and internationally recognized forms of contract
including RIBA, PEC, JCT, NEC, ICC and FIDICS. Thirty(30) of those years have been spent in Pakistan and 8 years working
abroad (in Malaysia 3 yrs., in Singapore 2 yrs. and in Libya 3 yrs.).
Beside field Supervision and Management, I have extensive experience in Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration and
Management work both in civil and infrastructure environment, Pre and Post Contracts works (right from preparing materials
take-offs, bills of quantities, detailed engineers estimates through the drafting of contracts, tender documentation, contract
formulation, negotiating terms & conditions of contract till project completion). Successfully pursued and defended multiple
claims including EOT and additional cost claims. Good command in tender process, variations to contracts, extension of time
(EOT), valuation of variations and risks, RFPs, evaluation of tender, submissions and awarding contracts & sub-contracts,
contracts administration and providing assistance to the legal team for dispute resolution as well.
