Responsible for protecting their organization’s computers, networks, and data against threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses or attacks by cyber-criminals.
Set up procedures and automated processes to monitor the status of computers and networks.
Assess the organization’s security measures, such as firewalls, anti-virus software and passwords, to identify any weak points that might make information systems vulnerable to attack.

To lead the Microsoft related technologies commitment including but not limited to Office 365, MS Exchange, SharePoint, and Website team in supporting the business operations, leveraging the IT Technologies for adding maximum business value and to look after IT Security across Company
Lead and involve in the effective implementation, adaptation, and utilization of Microsoft related technologies in light of recommendations and suggestions being forward and/or approved by IT management and IT management steering committees.
Lead the change management for all Microsoft related products including Office365, SharePoint and Exchange. Ensure successful delivery of projects in these areas.
Take ownership of the technical aspects of ICI Pakistan related website and related external applications. Ensure compliance with ICI policy and standards.
Introduce new technologies that add significant business value across ICI. This role requires constant research into upcoming IT trends and technologies.
Closely monitor any new issues that raised by the users from time to time for Non-ERP Applications, MS SharePoint, and MS Exchange. Ensure that the initial response time for new issues kept to a minimum and that the concerned users kept in the loop as the team investigates the issues. Exercise independent judgment in committing personnel resources to projects and problem solving.
Work with the Infrastructure team to ensure DRP for Microsoft portfolio including MS Exchange and MS SharePoint always kept current and tested on a regular basis to ensure audit compliance and any learning’s incorporated in the design.
Understands and appreciate the intricacies of all the ICI business processes, as they relate to the jobholders’ assigned areas. Suggesting process improvements, innovation, and the use of technology to make the processes more efficient are the responsibility of the incumbent. As a consultant, the jobholder should be able to advise the business on how to align their processes with IT platform standards to better advantage the system and to discover innovative new techniques to automate business processes.
Responsible for overall information security of ICI Pakistan, the accountabilities include:
