I'm an Electrical Engineer from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. As you know it is very important for an engineer to get job in an organization that is related to his field of study so that she/he could test his knowledge practically and develop herself/himself at a professional level with efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, I am looking forward to getting a job in a challenging environment demanding all my skills and efforts to explore and adapt myself in different fields and realize my potential where I get the opportunity for continuous learning.
As Teaching Assistant of Power System Analysis and Design lab in UET Lahore I do check lab work of students, check their manuals, guide them in simulations of power system networks in PWS (Power world Simulator) and PSS/E (Power System Simulator for Engineering).
We learnt practical working and information related to generation transmission and distribution of electricity. There were educational visits of Grid Stations and different departments of NTDC. Discussion about current projects of NTDC. Introduction to power system planning, Learnt PSS/E (Power System Simulator for Engineering).
As it was an internship so they taught us practical working and information related to generation transmission and distribution of electricity. We visited Steam Power Plant, Gas Turbine Power Station, Combined Cycle Power Plant, Grid stations, Pakistan’s largest Turbine, Transformer Repairing Workshops and Transformer Reclamation Workshop. Got training in Meter testing lab, Machine lab and HV lab. Got training on power system simulators.
