Maintaining Norcotics Records
Maintaining Fridge Items
Checking up All the near Expiry Medicines
To ensure & Implement the Fifo Rule Etc.

I am currently working as Staff Pharmacist in the Liver Transplant Department, New Life Health Services, Quaid-e-Azam Intenational Hospital, Islamabad.


My typical work duties involves the following but not limited to


Working on 8 Hours shift with exception of overtime
Maintaining patient profiles, inventories, pharmacy files, and other records.
Offering information to patients regarding correct dosage, side effects, drug interaction, and appropriate storage practices.
Reducing pharmacy waste by enacting better protocols for inventory and storage.
 Assessing the strength, purity, identity of medications and answering patient\'s queries.
Coordination with Purchase department to ensure availabilty of drugs and forwarding drug\'s requests.
Entries into database such as Labeling medicine with their MR No, Medicine names, patient records & dose frequency on daily basis.
Making patient\'s routine medicines & dispensing them to different wards, units, ICU etc.


Responsibilities


Dealing with various on job issues such as strong sensitivity to problems that may arise if issues with prescribers, patients or drug companies are present.
Intense focus and attention to details to minimize mistakes and unnecessary expenses for both the drug companies and the hospital pharmacy.
Routine visits and coordination with nursing staff to make sure that patients are given the correct dosage and treatment
Coordinating with team of Pharma technicans to make sure that patient\'s medicine orders are well received and dispatched to the concerned unit/ward on time.

I worked as an Incharge Pharmacist and the following were the list of duties and responsibilities that I performed.

Involved in overseeing the work and progress of Interns and technicans.
Involved in dispensing, counselling and answering patients queries.
Made sure the standards and quality of drugs are as per the standards.
Ensured that appropriate drugs are dispensed and correct dosages are administered to the patients.
Ensured that inventories are organized and kept in safe condition by the staff.
Coordination with purchase team to ensure timely available of drugs.

I was involved in 8 weeks Internship at Maroof International Hospital under a supervision of Manager Pharmacy where I performed the following duties.

Learned to use the software application to produce correct entries of patient profile such as history, prescription and dosage requirement.
 Helped Staff Pharmacist in dispensing and administerig medicines to the patients, such as Assited in Printing the dosage and labbeling the drugs as per prescription.
Routine visits with supervisor to the wards and units and make sure that patients are provided the corrent treatment by the nursing staff.
Frequenly involved in patient couselling and care.

I did my 42 days internship At Shifa International Hospital, Where i learned alot about Hospital Pharmacy & Hospital Pharmacy Set up. It was A total 6 weeks & i spent one week in 6 different Outlets Like OPD, IPD, Compounding, Satellite Pharmacy, Emergency Pharmacy & Take Home Pharmacy. It was a great learning Experience under professional management at Shifa International Hospital.
