Main Responsibilites
   To design and monitor the programme/projects on food security and livelihoods for development and humanitarian.
·        To provide technical backstopping to the project team with support from the area management
·        To lead, coordinate and facilitate knowledge sharing and be a face for Organization for representation at various forums for food security and livelihoods discussions.
 Lead and develop relationships engage with key stakeholders, donor agencies, peer organizations, umbrella organizations, forums, networks for coordination and accomplish FSL related activities at Chitral.
·        Lead the designing, reviewing and revision of the food security and livelihood (FSL) activities in coordination of District Coordinator and Programme Team of Country Office.
Coordination with technical and operational functions:
·        Provide planned leadership to field based technical staff to ensure execution of actions.
·        As technical specialist s/he will lead initiatives to develop staff in order to ensure that the stream is capable of fully achieving its agreed targets.
·        Development, review of strategy, work plans, and systems will be led by the position holder.
·        Backstop MEAL team in the process of inceptions and support District Coordinator/ Meal responsible person and team understand the design, activity and strategy for smooth implementation of the projects.
·        Devise strategic engagement plans within the stream in consultation with colleagues (peers and Area teams) to explore country and province level partnerships with counter parts, national/local NGOs, academia and government entities leading towards joint programming.
·        Backstop the procurement cycle to ensure efficiency and quality of the procurements.
Support Grant management and compliance:
·        Present the dynamics and strategic actions of the current developments, trends and future plans of the donors in your stream to Management Team.
·        Organize briefing session with the peer team on key risks, issues and mitigations.
·        Lead the design cycle of the concept notes and proposals, while acquiring support of peers as well as from the District teams.
·        Establish that the flow of right and strategic information from FSL is maintained by MEAL and Communication teams.
·        Support the Manager Strategic Partnerships & Business Development understanding contractual modalities to leading to negotiations and the contract review processes.
·        Ensure and embed best practices to meet donor compliance requirements in collaboration with MEAL by providing guidance to relevant teams to improve understanding of the grants and contracts.
·        Support and plan periodic reviews and evaluation of the livelihood projects with support from MEAL.
·        Provide strategic insights to the leadership team in exploring and establishing key partnerships, networks and alliances.
Carry out other management responsibilities/assignment as requested by the line manager

      Main Responsibilities

To conduct technical assessment for the development of new projects.
Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget, design and timeframe.
Provide clear technical solutions for the Shelters and WASH schemes related to civil work.
Where requested, contribute technical inputs to support projects like infrastructure, Latrines Construction, Hand pumps installation and Sanitation schemes at Community and Institutional level.
Design and deliver Operation and Maintenance training in Schools and Communities as per the requirement of project.
Work in a team with Social Mobilizers and provide them with technical expertise at field level where necessary especially for the Construction of school building/class rooms and Water and Sanitation schemes sustainability.
Support concern line managers for the coordination and communication with contractors executing Project activities, to ensure proper and timely implementation and meet set quality standards.
Provide monthly progress updates to line manager on all ongoing project / program activities.

Supervised the ongoing works of water supply scheme , water pound, and Reservoier for irrigation facilities. Conducted regular monitoring of ongoing schemes and shared updates to Supervisor Engr Area coordinator and i manage Estimation of All ongoing schemes

Responsibilities:

Lead field activities related to engineering and infrastructure rehabilitation and development projects undertaken by MYRP in the relevant districts.
Assist in planning the Rehabilitation of wash facilities, provision of drinking water and construction activities of ramp and railings where needed.
Support all rehabilitation and construction activities undertaken by MYRP in the relevant districts with improved coordination and timely technical inputs in order to effectively meet completion targets.
Implementation of the activities such as preparing designs, BOQs, list of materials for procurement including their qualitative and quantitative perspective, and implementation of the construction plan on the ground.
Undertake extensive field visits which could be up to 50% of the total time to assess the quality of construction activities and progress undertaken directly under the MYRP Project through contractors / labor.
Supervise contractors / Labor and provide advice and support to help overcome any shortcomings in the construction quality and management procedures.
Assist in defining standards, formulate procedures and provide training and technical support to the field staff for effective quality control and progress of work of the on-going and future construction activities.
Ensure that the Manager and Coordinator are kept regularly informed of all matters relevant to the efficient and effective management of engineering projects, including the preparation of regular reporting and the production of a program work-plan.
Timely submission of monthly progress reports on all rehabilitation & construction activities undertaken in the respective districts.
Verify the payments processed by firm on achievement of milestones as agreed in the contracts and ensure timely release of payments to the contractors.
Conduct regular field on project locations, guide and supervise process of schedule implementation.
Until the planned construction activities are not finalized, and completion certificate is not provided by the incumbent, he would be engaged with TF.
Any other relevant tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Responsibilities
Supervision of WASH and livelihood CPIs construction activities in field.
Study the project documents (construction drawings & specifications) in detail, keeping in view Implementation Work Plan, and discuss the quarries with line manager/Program Engineer, if any, to reduce the threats of delayed work progress.
Maintain the Measurement Book (MB) of work done at site in presence of the contractor’s representative on daily basis and should be signed by both representatives.
Work out the total actual quantities of all as per construction drawings and specifications.
To ensure the layouts, levels and all activities at site. Either construction works are being done as per drawings and specifications or not.
To prepare the shop drawings of different activities as per requirement.
For maintaining the records of all documentation (hard & soft copies) and pictorial progress.
To be able to get different materials sampling, on different intervals, for testing and quality work assurance.
To prepare daily, weekly, monthly and other progress reports to submit to his supervisor.
Motivate and morally/ technically support the contractor, communities and his team in managing a perfect material supply chain. And closely follow up them for arranging materials before planned execution/consumption date/time of that material.
Analyze and prepare plans for material requisitions. 
Assist to Design all work plans and identify and resolve all construction issues on site.
Document all civil field activities and perform regular inspection to check progress of construction works. 
Assist in performing quality assurance inspection to verify the work is performed in compliance with the plans and specifications.
Processing daily project documentation and construction observations.
Preparing correspondence to the Contractor and donor agency.
Preparing weekly project status updates
Performing other duties as required by the work and assigned by the Project manager any other task assigned by supervisor.
Conduct regular field visits with 80% time in field and 20% for reporting.
