• Led monitoring and operations management of non-teaching district headquarter hospitals(DHQs) and tehsil
headquarter hospitals (THQs) of 36 districts of Punjab under the umbrella of the Hepatitis and Infection
Control (H&ICP) program.
• Formulate and shaped an infectious waste management plan for the hospitals under Punjab Hospital Waste
Management Rules 2014 by incorporating the safety and hygiene of Hospital Waste Management (HWM)
staff.
• Organized training sessions for field staff as well as for healthcare staff of 160+ Hospitals.
• Trained the staff about waste segregation to waste disposal mechanisms to prevent the spread of infection
around the facility.
• Oversaw infectious waste management activities on the field as well as remotely and ensure implementation
