Conduct all wheat flour fortification related activities including meeting with key stakeholders i.e. Food Department, Food regulatory authorities, Health Department, Flour Mills Association, flour milling industry at divisional & district level and nutrition development partners etc.
Plan and conduct trainings/capacity building activities for wheat flour mill staff, food inspectors, laboratory staff and District Focal Person on fortification and quality assurance and quality control processes to promote sustainable and adequate fortification of wheat flour.
In coordination with provincial manager, assist Provincial Food Depart. Food regulatory authorities, Health Depart. and wheat flour industry for planning and execution of program activities.
Provide technical support to flour mills micro-feeders calibrations and setting flow rate of premix as per standards prescribed by Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority.
Ensure notification and monthly meeting of Divisional Food Fortification Committee (DFFC).
Plan to conduct market and household surveys to monitor availability of fortified wheat flour.
Plan awareness raising activities at divisional level to generate demand for the fortified wheat flour.
Collect information and data from flour mills, compile, analyze and generate monthly reports for submission to provincial and national office.
Identify issues related to food fortification activities, report to manager and take mitigation measures.
Conduct research studies along with provincial and National team.
Responsible for overall implementation of project activities in assigned districts in accordance with the operational guidelines.
Coordination with District TB Coordinator, Regional Coordinator, District Lab Supervisor, Private Health Facilities and Private Labs for effective implementation of the TB DOTS PPM project.
Responsible for development of District Implementation Plan (DIP) in consultation with the district health authorities and in support of the Regional Coordinator.
Timely submission of monthly work plan, monthly progress report, TB Recording and Reporting (R&R) tools after endorsement from district health authorities.
Conduct regular visits of selected private health facilities and labs to ensure proper recording of TB R & R tools, timely supply of anti TB drugs, labs reagents, chemical and registration of TB cases.
Develop regular follow up mechanism for the identification of TB suspects and registration of new smear positive cases.
Maintain and update regular data base of registered TB cases at private health facilities and private labs in the districts.
Responsible for the implementation of the PPM activities in the field in close coordination of district health authorities and in support of the Regional Coordinator.
Responsible for maintaining chronological record (programmatic and financial) including activity photographs, minutes of meetings and field monitoring reports etc. of all the field activities at district level.
Responsible for submission of programmatic and financial record to regional office of all field activities on monthly basis.
Any other task or responsibility as assigned by the Regional Coordinator.
