Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for proper startup of lab instruments in the morning.

Ensure temperature maintenance of every instrument and report to Lab Supervisor in case of any fluctuation.

Ensure the checking of daily lab records to the medical officer on duty.

Maintain the Anti Sera and Gel Card, daily record sheet.

Perform the CBC quality control and CBC samples when required.

Perform Cross Match, DAT, IAT & Auto Control with entries in software.

Responsible for making Known Pooled Cells.

Perform quality control procedure of Anti Sera with proper documentation.

Responsible for informing engineers about any instrument repair and maintenance.

Responsible for checking lab cleaning procedures and informing the Lab Supervisor.

Responsible for receiving the sample from nursing with proper verification.

Ensure the issuance of blood products at proper time and requirement.

Responsible for maintaining instruments, and logging temperature charts in the morning.

Handle the camps in the morning and perform blood grouping along with entries.

Responsible for blood product preparation when required.

Responsible for informing doctors about any critical value.

Responsible for performing Coagulation Profile in the morning when required.

Ensure work handing over from morning to evening staff properly.
