1. Maintains quality results by participating in the quality assurance program, consulting with pathologists, reviewing quality controls, making adjustments in policies and procedures, maintaining records;
2. Provides medical laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic information, products, technologies, and services by establishing analytical procedures by consulting with pathologists;
3. Resolves problems by consulting with laboratory director, pathologists, physicians, technical coordinators and other health care professionals;
4. Attending committee meetings & provides administrative support for the hospital by acting as manager on call.
5.Maintains medical laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies.
