Personal Statement

The desire of joining the field of Business and Management sciences grew in my mind at the very early stage of my life. Therefore, my major fields in area of studies has always been towards business and management Along with some practical experiences too for my High school education I appeared in O levels, Cambridge International Examination in 2013 and 2014. Where I give exams on fundamentals of Business studies, Principles of Accounting and Economics. The basics were interesting for me. So in order to gain some practical experience I did internship in the Marketing and Accounts department of Begum Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Trust, Bahria Town Lahore. For four weeks. After that I joined my A levels school where again I appeared for Cambridge International Examination in Management Courses. Inclusion of advanced level of Business Studies, Accounting, Economics and Mathematics. The more I learned the more it grabbed my mind towards it. I also worked as a member of management team in my school’s social event ‘MISAAL’ In my A level’s school. After completing my A levels, I started looking for universities offering Bachelors in Business Administration. From couple of options. I found Beaconhouse National University suitable because of its quality education of international standards. Along with my academics I took part in the management team of the University’s social event ‘Bestival’ and ‘BUMUN’. Within the first two years.

I have completed seven semesters and three and a half years of my bachelors’ program since Fall2016. Including combination of Mathematical, management, finance, marketing, economics and Information Technology courses, including Ms Office and Creating Web Content. I completed my sixth semester as exchange student in turkey, in Yeditepe Universities, Istanbul where I enrolled in courses like Marketing Research, strategic marketing, strategic management, corporate social responsibility, law of enterprise and Turkish language course for foreign students. I achieved GPA of 3.42 over there. My CGPA is around 3.2. Apart from academics it was a good experience to live out of my home in a different culture with different language. Though the courses I enrolled were in English language but to communicate with locals out of the university it was a good learning experience to how to survive for four months without knowing the single word of the language of the region. Right now I am working on final year project and I have studied other theoretical courses in this semester including International Finance. In which I worked on another project focusing on how to make a local company as Multinational. the other two courses I was enrolled in were Global Marketing and fundamentals of Supply Chain Management. In the upcoming semester I will be studying, Digital marketing, ERP systems, E commerce, Branding strategies, Integrated Marketing Communication and Business and Commercial law course.

I have already received acceptance letter for one year MBA program in Hult International School of Business, Boston Campus. Unfortunately, the institute is a non-profit organization and doesn’t provides merit based scholarships therefore I cannot proceed with the program because the fee is out of my range. Therefore, I am looking for job opportunities in Pakistan for experience after I’ll be completing my degree in June, 2020.
