As a Project Engineer at Qatar Charity and now as a WASH Engineer at Save the Children, I lead and manage water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), and community infrastructure projects in Naseerabad, Pakistan. I have successfully assessed WASH needs at the community level, including educational institutes and health facilities, and ensured high quality and alignment with beneficiary needs in the construction and rehabilitation of water sources and sanitation facilities.
I have a BS in Civil Engineering from Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), where I learned how to design and implement hydraulic structures, such as water ponds and multistory buildings. I also gained field experience as a trainee engineer at Defence Housing Authority Quetta (DHA), where I supervised and inspected various construction works, performed lab tests, and coordinated with contractors, architects, and consultants. I am proficient in preparing design drawings using AutoCAD and Sap2000, BOQ/Cost Estimates, and Tender documents. I am also skilled in training community handlers in technical areas, such as water quality testing and maintaining quality water point structures.
I am organized and detail-oriented, work well under pressure and deadlines, and enjoy working with a variety of people. I am passionate about contributing to the humanitarian and development sector, especially in the areas of WASH and infrastructure. My goal is to apply my engineering knowledge and skills to improve the lives and well-being of the communities I serve.
