Work with community leaders and other stakeholders to mobilize communities and create awareness about the importance of education in emergencies, the availability of education services, and the benefits of enrolling children in school.

Conduct needs assessments to identify education-related needs in the community, including the number of out-of-school children, the availability of education services, and the barriers to accessing education.
Conduct outreach activities to identify out-of-school children and encourage them to enroll in school, including door-to-door visits, community meetings, and school enrollment campaigns.
Work with schools and other stakeholders to identify and provide support services to children who face barriers to education, including children with disabilities, children from marginalized communities, and children who have experienced trauma.
Monitor education-related activities, including school enrollment, attendance, and retention, and prepare timely and accurate reports on the progress and challenges of the education response.
Coordinate with other stakeholders, including local government officials, NGOs, and community-based organizations, to ensure that education response efforts are aligned and effective.
Report of program activities to the supervisor
Facilitate activities that build the capacity of the community
Coordinate with the government department/s and communities for relief activities
Ensure regular field visits and high quality timely production of all deliverables

Any other relevant task assigned by the supervisor

The position is responsible for community mobilization, assisting beneficiary assessment and ensuring smooth cash/disbursement to beneficiaries

Repair the activity implementation plan and discuss the required resources to undertake the activity
Ensure the community participation in the project activities
Form / re-organise Community Based organizations (CBOs) male/female
Conduct Village mapping/profiling through different PRA tools (i.e. is BBCMs, Mapping/profile, conflict resolution wealth ranking etc
Mobilize community and orient project and organizations' mandate
Work with community members to map and prioritize community needs
Identify and organize appropriate capacity building, and technical resources to support project implementation
Ensure efficient and effective implementation of Food Security, Livelihoods, Cash transfer and WASH related interventions at community level.
Write regular weekly, monthly and other reports (as per suggestion and need)
Facilitation and support in conducting the awareness sessions
Mobilize community groups, sensitize and train them on specific topics as required, organize and facilitate meetings.
Mobilize communities for cash disbursement at designated cash disbursement points.
Deliver training and awareness sessions to communities on different topics under Cash for training activities.
