Jr HSE Engineer
Nasda Green Energy (Pvt) Ltd. (50MW) is One of the Ten Wind Power Projects started on 12 August,2021 with a capacity of 50 MW that has been awarded to Hydro China International (HDEC). The client is Soorty textiles Mills, the objective of this project is to overcome the energy and climate change crises by generating electricity from wind.
Scope of work: Excavation, Lean & 400 m3 Concrete, Anchor Cage/Steel Fixing, Construction of Substations, Heavy Equipment Transportation, Tandem Critical Lifting during installation of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), Laying of underground electric cables, Pre & Post commissioning, Operation and maintenance, Construction of Access Roads, Sub-station accommodation, auxiliary, and control building construction.
Responsibilities and achievements:
· HSE Safe Man Hours Achieved till the date 25-09-2021 = 545,504
· Non-Conformances (NCR’s) Closed till date 13-11-2021 = 3
· Tool Box Talks (TBT) delivered to over 200 workers and trained 2 Engineers and 3 supervisors
· According to IFC standards and guidelines on-site Monitoring & rectification of NASDA 50MW Wind Power Project. Compliance with NEQS and SEPA environmental laws (Waste, Air, Water, and Soil).
· Site safety management by the implementation of HSE (Training, PTW, JSA, Risk Assessments, Equipment and machinery Inspections, Incident, Accident, and Near-miss) according to the HSE Plan and keeping a documented record of it.
· Successfully rectified environmental consultant (Hagler Bailly) comments on the new Zhenfa 100MW Solar power project HSE Plans. And assisted in developing Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMS).
