My name is Sheraz Pervaiz I have done Master of Science (M.Sc)-Software Technology program at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, Germany in 2006 (Specialization in Software Project Management). Before coming to Stuttgart, I got Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences (BCS) from University of Windsor, Canada in 2001.

I have written my Master Thesis in domain of image enhancement using different filters for online photo album software product of FotoKasten Gmbh (www.fotokasten.de.). The software product was developed using PHP/Mysql and integrated with CGI script to handle order management module of the organization. This online album product provides the users with the functionality of enhancing / editing the pictures taken from camera, improving the quality of the picture by applying filters and then should be able to create real-time Virtual album and then order it online for delivery. This product was developed in Smarty Template using PHP and Mysql.

I have worked for nearly a year in Wearable Computing Research Group in University of Hohenheim, Germany in the domain of hand free computing which was funded by Fraunhaufer Institute Germany for EU funded Project for emergency services. This project focuses on enabling a human wearable computer with the feature of desktop so that human hands are free for field work and voice based instructions can be given to the wearable computer which are attached to panel of experts giving them real-time advice. This software platform was developed in Java, JMI and IBM via voice software with sending text message between users.

I have worked as Deputy Director in Department of Computer Science in Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan from April-2006 to March-2009. I have taught Database, Advance Database Management, Web Engineering and Project Management courses to Undergraduate students. I was advisor of Computer Science society of GCU where I have written several technologies related articles.

I have worked as Project Manager on web based Academic ERP which was developed in house with GCU which automates different administrative and academic processes of the University. For this project i have worked on System Design / Architecture level and implementation of the ERP. This project was developed in Open Source Technologies using PHP/ Mysql. The duration of the project was 1.5 years during which Product was developed with 20 Man months.

I was involved in strategic planning to introduce IT enabled services across GCU to facilitate the different business processes within the organization so that manual systems can gradually be transformed into Computer based solution by Performing Business Process Re-Engineering.

Prior of going to Germany, I have 3 year teaching experience in Informatics, Lahore, Pakistan in collaboration with Curtin University of Technology, Australia and Middlesex University, UK .During my Job I have been teaching Web Programming, Electronic Commerce, Database Management, and Object Oriented Course using C. I was team leader of Database group for Pakistan with responsibility to streamlining the database course contents and its implementation. I was focal person for the implementation of Integrated Virtual Learning Environment (IVLE) ERP across 8 campuses of Informatics in Pakistan.

I have worked as Director in Edusys An IT Enabled Service Provider, Pakistan from April-2009 to May-2010, where my prime responsibility was to manage the Software Projects specifically focused on Business Process Re-Engineering, requirement gathering, perform Gap analysis, manage teams to ensure timelines within budget. I have worked with USAID funded web based Software projects (2) for IDP's of Malakand to perform computer based Psychological test based on the data provided as a result of periodic survey. I was also managing outsourced software development with UK based firm in Pakistan.

Another Major project was the Automation of Fountain House, Lahore, where business process of patient management, financial management and inventory management was integrated under the software product to streamline the processes.

I have worked as Senior Advisory Software Engineer in Systems Ltd, Pakistan, from June-2010 to August-2011 where my prime responsibility to develop Software framework to improve the quality of education delivered to the students of Government School by leveraging technology .I was involved in Business Process Re-Engineering for Government Schools to improve Governance and provide Quality Education. I had worked with World Bank / DFID and Punjab Government for the pilot implementation of solution. The proposed framework involves policy interventions in process of decision making at the provincial government.

I was also engaged in pre-sales meeting, preparing project proposals, designing proposed software solutions of National and International Projects which include Effort and cost estimations of proposed Software Solutions.

I have worked as as IT Consultant / Project Manager in Urban Unit - P D Department, Government of Punjab from August-2011 to Jan-2013 for the world bank funded project of Computerization of Excise and Taxation Department, Punjab. This project involves Business Process Re-Engineering as per UIPT Act 1958 of UIPT and policy interventions at different level decision making tiers. The web based solution automates the process of Property tax calculation which enables transparency. This solution includes integration with GIS utilizing web services to ensure location based mapping of the properties.My major responsibilities includes Project Management, Project planning including time and resource estimation, perform requirement and gap analysis, develop System Design document and ensure deliverable within given timelines. The duration of pilot project was one year which is complete and project is in pilot phase in Sialkot City.

I have worked with Virtual University in the capacity of Consultant / Professor to develop and record course of E-Commerce since Jan-2013 from April-2013.
I have worked as working as Senior Consultant / Project Manager in
Sensys /Intech, Pakistan in the CoreMax Team of IntelliMax product. I am working there since May-2013.

Currently i am working as Vice President - Software Delivery in Coeus Gmbh, Lahore.

Overall my experience is more than 14 years.
