Mr. Ghulam Dastagir has a Master Degree in Sociology from International Islamic University Islamabad and has completed/earned different refresher Courses/Certificates from Humanitarian Leadership Academy and Disasterready. Along with this, he has completed his thesis titled under "Impacts of Afghan Refugees on Local People of Dalbandin'. He has experience of more than five years of working with international and national humanitarian organisations in dealing long term and short term Projects. He has strong background in implementing Monitoring and Evaluation systems and technical know-how of Project Cycle, Coordination, Advocacy, Livelihood, Disaster Risk Management etc.. He has huge experience of working with Donors like WHO, WFP UNOCHA, VSO, IRC. He has sound experience of implementation of CBT-FFA , Cash for Work-CFW, Food for Work-FFW. He has strong reporting skills in WFP, UNOCHA funded livelihood based Projects. He has worked largely in Emergency projects( Locust Attack, Covid Pandemic and Drought) in Balochistan. He fluently speaks English, Urdu, Balochi(Mother Tongue), Farsi. Currently, he associated with Taraqee Foundation WFP funded Project working as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
1. Verify the targeting (i.e., villages selection and beneficiary registration) as per WFP envisaged standards.
2. Perform cash distribution monitoring and the processes involved to mobilize beneficiaries to the cash disbursement points3. Conduct Distribution Monitoring (DMs) & Post Distribution Monitoring Forms (PDMs) in the selected area.4. Receive and collate comments and feedback from beneficiaries, to support identifying programmatic issues with a view to fostering efficient operations.5. Perform case studies and beneficiary contact monitoring to assess the results of WFP interventions on targeted households6. Perform purposive monitoring visits to follow-up on critical issues surfaced through internal and external sources i.e., WFP complaint feedback mechanism, government authorities, UN coordination office etc.7. Collate assistance programme(s) data in accordance with clear direction, in order to support programme reviews and informative decision-making.8. Liaise with donor, district authorities and internal counterparts to gather feedback and comments to support programme reviews and improve services.9. Represent implementing partner at district level coordination forum and accordingly keep WFP provincial office Quetta updated.10. Provide guidance to field team on WFP operational practices, monitoring tools and methods in order to support them to complete self-monitoring tasks and to contribute to the visibility of WFP in the coverage areas.11. Prepare and timely share the field mission reports to document the programme implementation
