Mr. Ghulam Dastagir has a Master Degree in Sociology from International Islamic University Islamabad and has completed/earned different refresher Courses/Certificates from Humanitarian Leadership Academy and Disasterready. Along with this, he has completed his thesis titled under "Impacts of Afghan Refugees on Local People of Dalbandin'. He has experience of more than five years of working with international and national humanitarian organisations in dealing long term and short term Projects. He has strong background in implementing Monitoring and Evaluation systems and technical know-how of Project Cycle, Coordination, Advocacy, Livelihood, Disaster Risk Management etc.. He has huge experience of working with Donors like WHO, WFP UNOCHA, VSO, IRC. He has sound experience of implementation of CBT-FFA , Cash for Work-CFW, Food for Work-FFW. He has strong reporting skills in WFP, UNOCHA funded livelihood based Projects. He has worked largely in Emergency projects( Locust Attack, Covid Pandemic and Drought) in Balochistan. He fluently speaks English, Urdu, Balochi(Mother Tongue), Farsi. Currently, he associated with Taraqee Foundation WFP funded Project working as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
1. Verify the targeting (i.e., villages selection and beneficiary registration) as per WFP envisaged standards.
2. Perform cash distribution monitoring and the processes involved to mobilize beneficiaries to the cash disbursement points3. Conduct Distribution Monitoring (DMs) & Post Distribution Monitoring Forms (PDMs) in the selected area.4. Receive and collate comments and feedback from beneficiaries, to support identifying programmatic issues with a view to fostering efficient operations.5. Perform case studies and beneficiary contact monitoring to assess the results of WFP interventions on targeted households6. Perform purposive monitoring visits to follow-up on critical issues surfaced through internal and external sources i.e., WFP complaint feedback mechanism, government authorities, UN coordination office etc.7. Collate assistance programme(s) data in accordance with clear direction, in order to support programme reviews and informative decision-making.8. Liaise with donor, district authorities and internal counterparts to gather feedback and comments to support programme reviews and improve services.9. Represent implementing partner at district level coordination forum and accordingly keep WFP provincial office Quetta updated.10. Provide guidance to field team on WFP operational practices, monitoring tools and methods in order to support them to complete self-monitoring tasks and to contribute to the visibility of WFP in the coverage areas.11. Prepare and timely share the field mission reports to document the programme implementation

Provide technical support the District Health Depart team to prepare, implement, monitor and evaluate work-plans in line with national COVID-19 NCOC priorities, strategies and plans.Provide technical support the Health official team to prepare, review and/or update annual/quarterly immunization plansAssess trends and measures outcomes relating to achieving Annual Operational Plan (AOP), mainly the COVID-19 vaccination, Routine Immunization and Primary Health Care Integrated PlanSupport regular performance reviews of country technical working groups and the preparation of performance improvement plans wherever necessaryOversee the immunization data management protocols in an aim to improve quality, accessibility, timeliness and relevance of technical dataPrepare quarterly programme status reports required for management, board, donors, budget reviews, programme analysis, annual reports, etc.

Internal Field Monitor
-To participate in Training of Training Field Monitors and conduct field monitoring visit per given target. -To monitor documents and report field activities without disturbing field work of teams. -To participate in coordination meeting if required.-To record and report best practice from field. -To record pictorial evidence of monitored activities as MOVs. -To report progress of activities to coordinator on daily basis. -To travel anywhere in assigned field area. -To provide feedback after each assignment. -To understand the important of polio vaccination and training for quality data. -To ensure that fair data collection is happening on ground. -To prepare financial statement after each PCM. -Any other duty assigned by high Management.
