REDUCTION OF GAS BILLS UP TO 30% OF WATER GEYSER BY MINIMIZING HEAT LOSS

<div><p>In order to lessen monthly gas bills, a thermal insulation blanket is used to reduce heat losses from the water geyser. This reduces gas consumption by the water geyser and national load on gas is also decreased. Our project comprises of designing and fabricating geyser’s external insulation blanket made up of different insulating materials. These insulating materials are selected calculating their thermal conductivities and analyzing critical radius. This blunt in heat losses due to thermal insulation blanket reduces gas bills up to 30% in winters.</p> <p>A conical baffle is also used to improve heat transfer between flue gases and water container. Water Geysers having no conical baffle consume more gas and hence increase gas bills. This is proved as a cost-effective project in recent years in foreign countries too. The final product may have certain limitations due to environmental factors or human errors which can be improved in future.</p> <h1> </h1> <h1> </h1></div>
