Artificial Intellegence based MPPT for Wind Energy Conversion System

<div><p>The purpose of our project is to achieve Maximum Power output from the Wind turbine by using maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique. However, wind energy has obstacles of having inconsistent wind speed, and power from the turbines gets altered which automatically affects the system. To get the maximum potential from Wind, energy MPPT technique is used. Wind energy is clean, safe, and rich in the environment. Wind energy bypasses the practice of fossil fuels which limits political dependency on different countries by importing fuel. Firstly, our project concentrates on developing a Simulink model for the wind energy conversion system. Secondly to design an Artificial Intelligence based algorithm to track max wind speed and lastly to enhance the electrical efficiency of the system in contrast with the traditional conversion system. The MPPT approach can be made possible by simply tracking the optimum placement of wind turbines according to the variable wind velocity with regards to the maximum power. The different ranges of wind turbine positioning could be able to figure out using real-time data by weather forecasting or wind forecasting. The overall output can be proved after a comparison with the conventional method of Wind energy harnessing.</p></div>
