• Strategically manage Logistics Operations in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Prepare & manage logistics budgets, monitor expenditure and implement remedial measures where appropriate.
• Negotiate, finalize and manage contracts with shipping lines, freight forwarders transporters and custom clearing companies.
• Develop & implement supplier selection criteria.
• Plan and monitor Inbound Transportation including imports of the company at all glass plants & motorcycle assembly unit (Hattar, Sheikhupura, Karachi & Bhai Pheru) on a daily basis
• Plan and monitor Outbound transportation of Finished Goods including exports from all plants (all glass plants & motorcycle assembly unit (Hattar, Sheikhupura, Karachi & Bhai Pheru)
• Devise strategies to ensure timely lifting of materials from the port after clearance and minimize the risk of demurrages & detention.
• Manage and maximize dedicated vehicles fleet utilization at float glass & motorcycle division
• Devise strategies to manage & control per ton freight cost, truck loading time
• Manage stocks/inventory levels at plants to avoid stock out a position at the plant
• Ensure data accuracy i.e.no discrepancy in physical and virtual stocks
• Team member of Oracle Implementation for the logistics department
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies

• • Strategically plan and manage logistics & warehouse operations in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Responsible for Logistics planning and execution (Warehouse & Transportation)of finished goods
• Preparing & managing budgets, monitoring expenditure and implementing remedial measures where appropriate.
• Manage & control per/liter budgeted freight cost and labor cost
• Plan & arrange vehicles including a dedicated fleet of dry & chilled vehicles for the execution of sale orders of 350 + distributors throughout Pakistan on daily basis as per available stock at two plants (Bhai Pheru, Rahim Yar Khan) with minimum cost impact and maximum product dispatch keeping in view stack height.
• Manage and liaison with customers for toll packaging w.r.t warehouse activities
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with Transporters & Service Providers
• Make decisions for overall safe storage, reduce losses through stacking with efficient warehouse space usage, movement of inventory while maintaining FIFO that reduces truck loading time and control inventory through cycle counting and perpetual inventory control measures.
• Implement and manage HSE activities within the warehouse and train warehouse staff in coordination with HSE department.
• Train warehouse staff for implementation of 5S Japanese techniques and ISO 9001, 14001 & HACCP requirements.

• Responsible for Logistics (13 Warehouses & Transportation) planning and execution
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with Transporters & Service Providers
• Actively interacting with nation-wide Sales Team for smooth running of Logistics & Distribution Operations
• Manage & control Inventory of home appliances (CBU & CKD) models throughout Pakistan.
• Implement & manage FIFO inventory system

• Plan arrange and manage vehicles (including a dedicated fleet of dry & chilled vehicles) for dispatches as per sales requirement from all warehouses
• Control budgeted per/liter freight cost
• Manage accident & theft cases related to dispatch vehicles in close liaison with transporter, accounts department and insurance company
• Manage and control purchases of general supplies and services for the whole company through Inviting quotations and conduct bids analysis through approved suppliers in coordination with other members of the supply chain.
• Responsible for timely release of advance payments as per agreed terms and adjustment of suppliers accounts / balances
• Plan design and implement strategies for successful implementation of the Management Systems such as ISO & HACCP.
