IT Network Support is the front-line of service to students and staff making use of IT Services labs. The IT Network Support ensures that the lab environment is appropriate for users to complete their academic computer related tasks. Maintain the arrangement of computer towers, keyboards in order at all times of the day. Configure the Software’s of all the computer system and should have the sound knowledge of them. Ensure that users do not install software or tamper with hardware. Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and tests; following manufacturer\'s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Prepares equipment for operations by accessing software in computer; loading paper into printers preparing for output. Check the Daily Email regarding the task and Email to The Lab Manager and Cc: to Director Technical & Computer Lab’s regarding the software’s /hardware and replacement of damage accessories (Chair’s, Keyboard, mouse, cables etc). Support and helps the students to install some complicated software trial version i.e. SPSS, SQL Server 2013 and Visual Studio 2013 etc.. Prepared computers for online admission Entrance Test and add & Drop. Excellent communication (English and Urdu) with students and faculty. Collect I.T Competency exam data and Email to Examination Controller and Exam Coordinator (Professor). Be knowledgeable of services provided by IT Services and have gone through the website.
