SENIOR ENGINEER /PROJECT MANAGER WIRELESS (BSS & TXN) IMPLEMENTATION & OPRATIONS

• Responsible for defining the Project proposals, Consultancy briefs, Project planning, Risk management, Requirements specifications, Contract negotiation and formation, System implementation (documentation, training, acceptance testing, installation), Service specification and development.
• Manage Site Survey, BOM creation, Civil, installation, integration and testing of regional & local LTE /EVDO /CDMA 1X BTS sites /Microwave links (Huwei / Zte) sites; BSC (Huwei / Zte) and WIMAX (redline).
•Manage the integration & testing of network equipment added to assigned cell sites & transmission hub sites.
• Manage O&M of assigned cell sites & transmission equipments so as to provide a highly reliable & efficient network for all customers and do Logistics Management involving material inventory, dispatches and returning faulty equipments.
•Managing all activities of CDMA WLL/EV-DO/LTE/MICROWAVE DRS/WIMAX Project of Northern &Central Region (FTR & NTR) with vendor includes Turnkey Rollout, Swap, Field Service Operation and Managed Services. • Carry on the integration, cut over, re homing phase of any BTS sites according to the planning for increasing the radio coverage, load balancing, and assure the smooth operation of our network.
• Radio network optimization through field measurements/drive tests and performance evaluation, traffic analysis and Operation and Maintenance measurements in the same regions. • Specifying drive tests plans according to priority issues arising from major network failures, customer complaints, peak hour traffic reports, etc. • Pre analysis of CNT, CNA log files and optimized the network according to the analysis. Responsible for the quality of voice call, hand over, block call, call set up, call drop, and call success analysis. • Review site per tech to ensure sites & in proper operating order and Interface with network engineering, RF engineering, Microwave engineering, Equipment vendors, Switch operations & the network operation center as required to insure a property functioning, highly reliable & efficient network.
• Review BSS performance report & open trouble tickets against sites in area to ensure technicians are responding & clearing trouble quickly.
•Lead the 2G/3G/4G Network New Phase Deployment in Northern/ Central Region of Pakistan • Planning, directing and coordinating through subordinate level staff to fulfill telecommunication’s work plan I have assigned under my responsibility in projects. I reviewed and evaluated installation methods and procedures to key staff to identify and resolve problems.
• Dimensioning, Configuring, Commissioning and integration of Huawei / Zte BTS & Huawei / Zte BSC and provide all short technical assistance to field staff as required, Bridging the communication gap between supporting departments
• Preparing Script of BTS according to the planning and corresponding BSC data base to manage daily reports.
•Routine meetings with all the concerned departments and ASPs (contractor & sub-contractors).
•Engage with vendor (ZTE, HUAWEI and RED LINE) and ensure a good relationship is maintained across all regions.
•Work on LTE, CDMA2000 1x, EV-DO Technology System on platform of HUAWEI & ZTE and Responsible for the implementation of BTS (HUAWEI BTS 3612, 3606 and 3900 & ZTE ZXSDR (8800, 8900, and 8906) in FTR & NTR.
