Overall managed and piloted the the component \'World of Work\' under Basic Education Program Afghanistan (BEPA) implemented by German International Cooperation(GIZ) subcontracted by GFA Consulting Group, Hamburg.
Responsibility included advisory to partners on national, regional and school level in all technical aspects of the component, strategy development, operational planning, budget management, steering of short term experts and M&E.
Piloted selected approaches and measures in 12 schools in Kabul, Balkh, Takhar and Samangan.

Established and overall managed 10 Drop In literacy Centers for out of School Children and Youth in Karachi supported by Karachi Youth Initiative and ITA.
Responsible for establishing of centers, hiring para staff and volunteers, capacity building of staff, supporting community mobilizers for increasing enrollment in centers, controlling of budgets, formal mainstreaming of children in public and private schools and Job placement for youth.
