The purpose of formation of Minority Community Leaders comprising of non-Muslim rights activists and young community leaders is to promote equal social and political rights for the religious minorities of Pakistan. Background:

The Consultant- MCL member is expected to perform following tasks:
  Closely coordinate with Focal Person (Ross Mahtani) regarding project activities and roles & responsibilities
 
 Participate in the consultative meetings along with other members of MCL and program staff for developing detailed future action plan for activities/ sessions.
  Have an active role as participant and mobilization of community participants in RTI sessions and district level advocacy campaign  Consultant must reach the venue at least one hour before the session.

UNICEF and UNDP to support the vaccination awareness has developed an initiative called Coping with Corona Aao Vaccine lagwayen that aims to effectively engage adolescent champions in schools/communities to enable them to contribute to increase community resilience, with a specific focus on promoting resilience in face of the COVID situation and encouraging community members to make use of vaccination facilities offered by the Government of Pakistan.The objectives of the campaign are Engage with adolescents to inform and inspire them. Engagement through different activities (digital and on ground) that empowers them to take initiatives of community welfare by building their capacity.Young people are provided with the needed approved information on vaccination administration, need and safety.Adolescent ambassadors to facilitate and encourage peers and elders to get vaccinated.

LEAD AGAINST MARGINALITY AND POVERTY-LAMPTenure 2021 to 2022Location  Jamshoro Kotri ,Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan Project title Strengthening Self Help Group-SSHGGeneral Description of the RoleThe main responsibility of Social Mobilizer is responsible for mobilizing the community through dialogue, awareness raising and using PRA/RRA tools to identify causes of local problems and their solutions.Key DutiesSM will provide facilitation in the group formation, record keeping, internal saving mechanism and training/capacity building of the SHG members.Collect and record data on routine activities and share with Team leader.Provide facilitation CLTS sessions and organize and carry out hygiene promotion and campaigns.Mobilize the community to participate in the project seeand encourage all groups to participate in the project.SM will ensure active community support for the project activities.Ensure that WASH activities are integrated with other activities for optimum benefit of the beneficiaries. Develop linkages with community leaders ,Government departments and other organizationField visit/Follow ups on regular basis and report to project supervisor on weekly and monthly basis.Ensure that the vulnerable people benefit from the project.Any other tasks assigned by LAMPs management.
