Currently working in HVACR industry as import officer, responsible for executing strategic decisions and for coordinating international operations between the different departments of the firm and/or external partners, also prepares/carries outs and checks on the follow-up of import operations. Responsible for following import operations along with Commercial operations.
Imports Operational Activities:
• Dealing with Imports of Air conditioners, Floor standing, Microwave Oven, Washing machine.
• Apart from above, Preparation of Pre-shipment costing, Product Sourcing, Arrangement of Pl.
• Consulting of Pakistan Custom Tariff, Second Schedule, Valuation Ruling and SRO.
• Preparation of Forwarder and Transporter Inquiry.
• Coordination with Clearing Agent for Prompt Clearance.
• Preparation of monthly Bank Allocation for Finance,
• Prepare docx. For TT, Bank contract and Duty/Taxes.
Commercial Operational Activities:
• Maintaining Duty sheets.
• Maintaining Customs Bonded Duty Reporting Sheets & Outflow Sheet.
• Follow-ups of demand preparation, and coordination with the finance team for payments.
• Maintaining the Bond Register and verifying monthly bond statements.
