Enterprise Data Networks

•Configure and administration of Cisco Routers, Switches, Next Generation Firewalls ASA 5516-X with Firepower services and Fortinet Load balancer ADC 1500D.

•Configuring IKE v1/2 site-to-site and remote access VPNs.

•Managing auto failover of P2P network links and IPsec site-to-site VPNs connectivity with CMOs and financial institutions.

•Inbound and outbound traffic filtering by using route maps with Prefix-lists/ACLs, eliminating single point of failure by using HSRP and ensure next hop reachability by implementing IP SLA.

• Managing Primary and Disaster site corporate network infrastructure that truly meets the organization’s demand.

• Collaboration with stakeholders (CMOs) particularly for resolving network related issues, network changes, network enhancements on demand.

• Troubleshooting, rectification and administration of network queries internally as well as from all external stakeholders (CMOs).

• Using Nagios XI to monitor network infrastructure, generate regular periodic and on-demand reports on various aspects of network functionality and utilization.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, particularly for overall network and related SoPs.

• Enforce and manage appropriate high availability and back-up/restoration capability.

• Disaster recovery administration from a networking point of view.
• Prepare and maintain a disaster recovery/business continuity plan for the network.

• Coordination with relevant vendors, Senior Manager, Director technical and will all members of technology department in regards to above responsibilities.

• Review, propose and implement improvements to overall network / security.

• Maintaining corporate and branch offices firewalls to deliver even services to streamline the business operations.

• Install, configure and maintain router, switches, and firewalls and deliver quality services that truly meet enterprise customer’s demand.

• Identify operational issues related to network and follow industry standards to address those issues.

• Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with different teams to overcome technical challenges.

• Leading several high profile enterprise network related projects.

• Perform detailed, post event analysis of unusual events, and carry out needed procedure or process changes in response.

• Providing 24/7 remote support to subordinates and ensure problem rectification in shortest possible time.

• Liaising with project management team to streamline project implementation.

• Maintaining all tasks in documented form to meet industry best practises

• Modernizing job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in national and international events

• Provide after sales support and services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the customer contract and SLAs.

• Install, configure, and maintain networking equipments and services to support the global enterprise WAN & LAN environments.

• Communicate effectively with customers, including expectations for call backs and follow up on their technical queries.

• To proactively detect incidents related to network services, conduct diagnostics and ensure problem rectification in shortest possible time.
• To better understand the customer queries and integrate network solutions that truly meet the customer\'s requirement.

• Follow industry standards installation, configuration guidelines and best practices in order to deliver quality related to network services and infrastructure operations.

• Ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of all internal and external systems and products serviced by service operations.
• Implement structured troubleshooting approach for network maintenance in shortest possible time.

• Carry out pre-installation site surveys and prepare documents like PIP, HLD and LLD for building effective material to streamline the project implementation.

• Collaboration with all resolver groups, including third party vendors, to ensure an even execution of projects and services.

• Interact with peers to gain and share ideas and opportunities, as to provide coaching and mentoring in post-sales activities.

• Plan and carry out internal & external technical trainings for building effective resources.

• Design, implementation and provide after sales support for enterprise network solution that contains LAN, WLAN and end to end security solution.

• To complete the special tasks assigned by Team lead and Manager.

• Provide after sales support to customers related to products/services.

• Handle customer complaints efficiently and to resolve them in the shortest possible time by diagnosing and troubleshooting.

• Communicate effectively with customers, including expectations for call backs and follow-up on their complaints.

• Support mission-critical applications across different time zones — must be available to work on shift patterns where required.

• Collaborate with other support teams, Engineering and other internal GFI departments to help resolve critical product issues.

• Keep all the ongoing cases documented and up to date in the case management system.

• Promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service orientated GFI image amongst internal and external customers.

• Works in adherence to defined processes and procedures implemented in the organization, providing feedback about them to management

• Build and maintain solid working relationships with the members of the team.

• Collaboration with manufacturers and suppliers to streamline the project implementation.
