District Field Supervisor (DFS) is responsible for administrative, management, planning, and implementation of project activities in the district following the standardized guidelines of the National TB Control Program.
Maintains close liaison with the participating healthcare provider and private laboratories.
Ensures proper record keeping on TB Reporting & Recording (R&R) tools.
Ensure funds transfer among DTC, DLS, doctors, labs, and paramedics.
DFS is responsible for arranging and organizing all the field activities i.e. community gatherings meetings, community outreach chest camps, quarterly review meetings, and training of doctors, paramedics, and lab technicians in close coordination with the District TB Coordinator.
DFS is responsible for arranging and organizing TB awareness events for the local community and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities included monitoring Large Prive Hospital, Sputum transportation, Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment, DHIS, ECBS, GeneXpert facilities, Screening TB patients, and counseling.
Assistant will be personally responsible for adding to a case any precedent, policy, rules, or regulations relating to it, and flagging them properly, and making references in the margin of the case before its submission to the Officer.
He should undertake reference and research work, i.e. acquaint himself with the rules and regulations about the subjects dealt with in his Section, maintain such statistics as are required by the Officer (e.g. in a Service Branch, maintain lists of Officers belonging to a specific cadre, showing their latest postings, etc.) and while examining old records, take extracts of important policy decisions, etc.
He will prepare such statements and returns and collect such material and statistics, as may be required by the Officer.
He will generally instruct and guide the Section Clerk and supervise his work. In the temporary absence of the Officer, he will attend to any urgent references or cases that may require immediate attention. In the absence of a clerk/ record keeper, he will perform the duties of the clerk/ record keeper.
